I practise alot when I was young. I used to go to venues and see what the other lads was doing and then practise at home.

Great to see some photos of Clifton. We used to catch the 69 bus for the wicker in sheffield to rotherham bus station and walk up the hill. It was ideal for me as I was always skint as a kid.

Was it on about 6 oclockish? i remember richard playing a few northern tracks in between modern stuff.

Mine seeing beer towels in back pockets and bowling bags.

It seems a long time since we last had a soul radio station in sheffield. The one I can remember was Richard Sterling Soul Source early 80s.

At the moment with so many venues it doesn`t look like slowing down. Maybe some day in the far furture then into music history as the best.

Any idea what year it was?

Let see if the kids of to day are still into todays stuff 30 years from now?
