  1. You can get it on their "Black Magic" lp for £10. Dave
  2. This track has recently been re-issued on a very convincing 'Demon Hot' label but it is a one sided 45' - "twinkle little star/blank" Dave.
  3. Thanks for the info mate -much appreciated! Dave
  4. Pretty good track, I mean I wouldn't kick it out of bed for farting. Dave
  5. Cheers Steve! You do know me as we met in Brighton a while ago (w/Paul & Cathy). Only recognised you cos' of your avatar (great pic). Hope you are doing well mate & Say hello to Lydia from me. Dave.
  6. I know it's a hard call,- but "Autumn Stone" would be in my top five as it's such a great song, along with "What's a matter baby". Always think the slower tracks showed Marriott's vocals off to the best! Take care, Dave
  7. Have you still got the fantastics high note? I'll have it. Cheers Dave
  8. What format is it on mate? Green film btw Dave
  9. Chosen as it's my favourite song by my favourite band The Small Faces
  10. The days of my having a dedicated record room ended when my daughter was born and it became her bedroom. I also store my records out of harms way after coming home from work years ago to discover her using my (aptly named) copy of 'heartbreaker' as a teething ring. I'm still surprised at how easy she gripped the record due to it's large centre. Maybe the UK issue would have survived!! Anyway, nowadays my entire vinyl collection is ripped to my laptop as lossless audio files. I don't even burn them to cd as my stereo has a usb socket. To be honest, nearly all of the music I listen to is now through my Sanda clip as MP3 files as the only time I get to listen is on the way to/from work. As for what I'm listening to at the moment? In the time it's taken me to type this its been; Gwen McCrae -Lead Me On, Gene Redding -This Heart, Jimmy Ricks -Oh! What a feeling, and currently it's "The Invitations -Look On The Good Side" . It just about makes the commute to work on the train bearable. ;-) Best, Dave
  11. Hi Dave. I rarely sell any records from my collection but sold my only copy of "who do you think you're fooling" by The Symphonic Four as I was bored with it. It's one that I'd had since the 80's and thought that another collector might just appreciate it more than me. Anyway, a few weeks after selling it I really started to miss it!! To make matters worse I started coming across references to it on line, with one website naming it as their "record of the day"!!! So I'm now trying to get another copy!!! Funny game isin't it? Dave

Pete, I'm sure many will dissagree, but take my advice and just shove the f####r to the back of your collection and forget about it, thereby saving yourself a lot of agro and wasted time! Best, Dave
  14. Brilliant Album Rod. The harmonies on "hung up on you baby" are some of the best I have ever heard. Dave
  15. Great post and replies-reading them has given me the best laugh I've had all week!! Muchos gracearse, Dave

  17. Hi Simon. I think that seller is going by the fact that a WD sold last month for $130+. In my opinion it has always been a $50 record. Then again maybe it is suddenly 'in demand' or the WD is worth more than the issue! Good luck with your search. Dave
  18. Nice version Johnny -thanks for the introduction! Dave
  19. Hi Ivor, my US demo is vinyl, if that's of any use to you. Dave

I got a copy of this many years ago from a dealer at the Brighton record fair. Decent sound quality and great value for £3. Dave
  21. Ernie, I nearly did the same thing, but luckily I remembered the 'King' version from his "Live at the Apollo" LP. On the same subject, I wonder how many people have bought Clyde McPhatter's "One More Chance" on Mercury thinking it was the version from his "Welcome Home" Lp? Dave
  22. Great Tune M8, Dave

Take your pick mate...... https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=ambassadors+soul+summit&thumbs=&currsel=&sortord=&x=25&y=13 Best, Dave
  24. It's probably as close as we are going to get!! It would have been good to see the "Made in Ireland" somewhere on the label, but a lot of Polydor Irish releases did not contain that information. Take care, Dave
  25. I've got the same one guys. I bought it from a Dublin record shop in the late 80's. As we know, there is nothing to say that it was pressed in Ireland and I'm pretty certain that the release number is the same as the UK one. Take care, Dave
