Some Ska, Rocksteady And Reggae 45's For Today
I think one went on ebay for about 120 quid last year. The other side is also great, I'm So Proud (the Impressions track) vocal version by Joe White. The vocal version to Way Of Life is one I'm after, I'd pay a ton for it, it's also on Blue Cat

Dj Alias - Who Was First
Two different Hectors then one was the first of the gang with a gun in his hand and the first to do time and the first of the gang to die, I think.

The first Velvet Underground & Nico album apart from the last 2 tracks on side 2, is the best album of the 60's. Just in my opinon.

Dj Alias - Who Was First
If he's the guy who used to DJ as hector (this is before my time slightly) his real surname was heathcote and there was a kids tv show in the 60's called hector heathcote, so thats where that came from

No not a great version. Madness covered that a year or so again on that covers album they did, they thought Audrey was the original, they'd never heard of the Barbara Lynn version!

Banned For Life For Posting On Whitby
It's the Tyrannosaurus Rex ones you need, but with the promo only picture sleeves, I think there's three of them, £500+ each.

Anyone Got A Spare Mamie Lee
In the late 70's, the issue copies of this were as common as Spyder Turner or Kim Weston, around here anyway. The all of a sudden - they disappeared!
-
Bits 'n' Pieces
It's a great track but I personally don't think it's worth more than £30.

That's great! Monty Morris was a brilliant singer. That was produced by George Murphy so that explain the Tennors credit, the Jamaican label was called Tennors! This one came out on UK Jackpot as well apparently. Whats the b side like?

MONTY MORRIS - SAY WHAT YOU SAY - PAMA As mentioned by Tone earlier - what a scorcher this is - I think CN Express is even better than this maybe..I need a copy of that, sold mine (about 3 times!)

Tony keep these comments coming because I'm learning loads. You know too much! I have both King Of Kings and Tears In Your Eyes, and it never clicked that they were the same backing track as I hadn't played the Monty Morris track for years! Obviously as soon as I played it I recognised it. Going to the top of my charts that is PETER TOUCH - I AM THE TOUGHEST - ISLAND A great bragging rude boy tune by Peter Tosh and The Wailers
