  1. Sounds like a throwaway B side and he's a bad vocalist. Must just be me then eh?
  2. That is a truly terrible song, and the singer must have been dragged in off the street. And people had the nerve to say my "Stop the clock" was rubbish. Pure gold mates, pure gold.

Great record that, Are You Pushed .. was a cheapie, bought one off Glen Bellamy last year for £15, sold it for £50
  4. Seminoles is rare on that label but hard to sell, I think I took about £70 for one in the end, probably books at £125
  5. No, he quoted the version I did with all the naff tracks cut out
  6. Are you Adam Adamant ??
  7. I don't know where that rumor came from, Emerald was a decca label so why would an RCA recording come out on there anyway? Anyone remember the Irish only version of "Waterfall" by Dickie Rock on UA? Rubbish wasn't it?
  8. Yeah round here it's "her eyes were like those of a chav in the dark"

No sir, it is you who has no taste. I have the best taste in music on Soul Source. It's diabolical. Voices are out of tune, there's no beat until the chorus, and even then it's badly produced. This one's got steam coming off it.

Dreary is about the best I can come up with
  11. It didn't come out on Emerald. She did have a record or records released in Ireland but not that one.

Real value - probably £500. Musical value - about 8 pence
  13. I said it's good as a stand alone record on it's own merits, but not if you bring it into the context of n.s. or r&b ... bit like To Sir With Love by Lulu - great record but wouldn't play it on the soul scene
  14. :graynone: :graynone: :graynone:
  15. What a load of shite Mace. Accept it, it's a turd on a stick, it's useless as a 'northern type r&b sound' and I actually like r&b. Little Queenie sounds like the best instrumental of all time next to this abortion.
  16. Well no it was probably a generalisation but also because I said this was rubbish. Don't remember an inst though.
  17. I said the same last week and they all called me a twat
  18. Any port in a storm mate...

If I had one for sale now it would be £350.
  20. It's cack
  21. Because it's blues and rock & roll thats why, it's NOT r&b and it has no soul whatsoever. Thats why
  22. Thanks Rach. That's a great record but what it has to do with soul or northern soul, I've no idea. Well I have - it's got nothing to do with either, it's a 50's blues record. Good though.
  23. Is there an audio of it anywhere, don't think I've heard it
