Oddities On Respected Soul Labels
Elmer Gantrys Velvet Opera - but Direction wasn't a dedicated soul label, it was about 60% soul - the Mickey Finn single on Direction is one of the best records of the 60's

Slightly Exaggerated Sales Posts
OK so let's set up an imaginary scenario. New seller appears, selling a copy of Too Late and asking £200 for it. Someone posts "PM'd you" which probably means that someone who perhaps doesn't know that the record is only worth £50, is going to be paying four times too much. What is wrong with someone coming onto the post and saying that the price is steep, in order to stop our less knowledgable friend being ripped off?

Slightly Exaggerated Sales Posts
How do you mean? Surely if they are potential members then they'd be surprised that people join the site with no intention of participating in any other aspect of the site other than selling records maybe? That's not what an online community is about.

Backfield In Motion
The meaning of shake a tail feather is obvious. You can't compare it to that.

Here We Go Again
Really? I remember the A side really well, it was their second or third hit I think. It's described as 60's in the description.

Slightly Exaggerated Sales Posts
That wasn't what was said at all. It was about people who post in sales but nowhere else on the forum. Half the time we have no idea who they are or where they came from. It's as if they don't want to have anything to do with the rest of the forum members. Don't think you fit into that category.

Chris Clark - Do I... Auction
being bevelled doesn't help us. It could have been either way in the '60s at the Detroit sound studios Motown used. I'd love to see one

Just Arrived In The Post (Or Just Bought)
Lou Johnson - Unsatisfied - UK London - ok nothing exciting there, but no centre, costing me a massive £7, surely can't be bad out of the main section on ebay as well

Here We Go Again
Well the backing sounds really soulful but the singer - to my ears - is out of tune. Great backing track though.

Ian, this once I think you're completely wrong, it's just using football as a metaphor for cheating and nothing else whatsoever, it's all in your mind, man...
