Peggy March .. Ns .... No Way
So if you didn't go, how do you apparently know so much about it? See cos I went many many times and don't remember actually hearing many pop records...

You're cutting off your nose to spite your face. The producer worked with the likes of Nina Simone and The Jive Five. The melody is incredible. I just don't get it.

Willie Mitchell The Champion Help
Good theory but I doubt LOndon SA wouldn't have had that much info - and what if it was a mixed group?

Settle An Argument ? Ann Sexton
Multi coloured is a definite legal reissue. But I'd play it off a fried egg shaped picture disc before anyone told me what I could play..

Beat me to it. Brilliant record.- Settle An Argument ? Ann Sexton
I'm not arguing about when and where these records were played because that's really easy information to find out. I'm still arguing that the orange 77 label copies were not available until at least 1977 in most cases.- Willie Mitchell The Champion Help
Yeah but the proper LP was released in 66- Eddie Holmen I Surrender-R And B Version Whats Ur Thoughts ?
That Brenda Holloway "Cashing In" is nice I think it was recorded in the 90's or 2000's.- Stone Label-Canada
I've had a jackie Edwards and something else, quite unusual, forgot what it was now...might have been Julian Covey? Eddie Parker also on this label I think- Settle An Argument ? Ann Sexton
Yes - doubt it - yes. I can say with 99.9% certainty that Ted Ford was played at Wigan in 1977 and it was definitely DEFINITELY released on orange 77 label at the end of that year and not before. Little Ritchie was released at the same time because a rubbish looking Sound Stage 77 bootleg had appeared a month or two earlier. Breakaway and Ann Sexton also then appeared on orange 77 label. Breakaway had previously been out 2 years earlier as had LRitchie. Or I could be mistaken.- Settle An Argument ? Ann Sexton
So if I go through all the Black Wax adverts in Black Music from 1975 I'll find it will I? Only asking cos don't want to waste half an hour- Settle An Argument ? Ann Sexton
You're all wrong show me some evidence that the coloured 77 label was around in 74/75. Then I'll shut up.- Settle An Argument ? Ann Sexton
Little Ritchie and Breakaways and Ted Ford and Ann Sexton - all done (on multicolour 77 label) in 77 Dave. Ann Sexton not even played in 74 let alone reissued!- Johnny Bragg They're Talking About Me
Original- Willie Mitchell The Champion Help
Blue label / red label - why?- Willie Mitchell The Champion Help
You know what, I'm starting to think that maybe it is a 1966 release - I just don't understand why it would only be released there, that's all.- Willie Mitchell The Champion Help
Yes it does, but the typeface doesn't look right, especially the info on the right hand side. I just don't know about this, when did they stop doing tri centres, anyone? And why would the only release in the world of The Champion on a 45 in 1965/66 be in the extremely limited market of South Africa? - Peggy March .. Ns .... No Way
