  1. Good theory but I doubt LOndon SA wouldn't have had that much info - and what if it was a mixed group?

What kind of name is that to launch yourself as a superstar, Perk Badger?
  3. You probably haven't even heard it
  4. Pretty good but did you beat me to it on ebay 3 weeks ago?
  5. Multi coloured is a definite legal reissue. But I'd play it off a fried egg shaped picture disc before anyone told me what I could play..
  6. LINDA JONES - MY HEART NEEDS A BREAK - YELLOW LABEL LOMA ISSUE Visual condition, held to light probably VG++ I had graded it as EX-. Important - plays grade is between EXCELLENT AND MINT No clicks, scratches, hisses, nothing - totally perfect play copy. £90 postage £2.25 recorded or £6.30 registered cheers pete
  7. Beat me to it. Brilliant record.
  8. I'm not arguing about when and where these records were played because that's really easy information to find out. I'm still arguing that the orange 77 label copies were not available until at least 1977 in most cases.
  9. Yeah but the proper LP was released in 66
  10. That Brenda Holloway "Cashing In" is nice I think it was recorded in the 90's or 2000's.

I've had a jackie Edwards and something else, quite unusual, forgot what it was now...might have been Julian Covey? Eddie Parker also on this label I think
  12. Yes - doubt it - yes. I can say with 99.9% certainty that Ted Ford was played at Wigan in 1977 and it was definitely DEFINITELY released on orange 77 label at the end of that year and not before. Little Ritchie was released at the same time because a rubbish looking Sound Stage 77 bootleg had appeared a month or two earlier. Breakaway and Ann Sexton also then appeared on orange 77 label. Breakaway had previously been out 2 years earlier as had LRitchie. Or I could be mistaken.
  13. So if I go through all the Black Wax adverts in Black Music from 1975 I'll find it will I? Only asking cos don't want to waste half an hour
  14. You're all wrong show me some evidence that the coloured 77 label was around in 74/75. Then I'll shut up.
  15. Little Ritchie and Breakaways and Ted Ford and Ann Sexton - all done (on multicolour 77 label) in 77 Dave. Ann Sexton not even played in 74 let alone reissued!
  16. Blue label / red label - why?
  17. You know what, I'm starting to think that maybe it is a 1966 release - I just don't understand why it would only be released there, that's all.
  18. Yes it does, but the typeface doesn't look right, especially the info on the right hand side. I just don't know about this, when did they stop doing tri centres, anyone? And why would the only release in the world of The Champion on a 45 in 1965/66 be in the extremely limited market of South Africa?
  19. Got your Heads and your Bends slightly mixed up Grant LOL
  20. Ace Cannon receives the news that he is only getting £6 in royalties from UK sales of Sea Cruise

I used to see loads on adverts but not on flyers - in fact I was reading some only last night - october 1974 Would love to know what some of these are, lots of made up artists here I think Wigan casino Russ & Richard playing sounds like: GYPSIES, DETROIT SOUL, BILLY THE KID, GARY BAKER, FENWAYS, NICKY © CHATEAUX, MICHAEL & RAYMOND, FABULOUS BLADES, JOEY DEE, SOUNDS OF SOUL, TD VALENTINE, EXCEPTIONS, STARFIRES, APRIL SILVA, DENA BARNES, BOBBY PARIS, EDDIE & ERNIE plus lots of secret sounds and oldies
  22. There's a South African 7" which we all keep arguing about as to if it's a 1966 or a 1976 release. Also it came out in Europe in various countries in 1976.
