Fantastic record

I was thinking about this yesterday, felt like blasting something out, picked out Frankie Crocker - Ton Of Dynamite and then realised, I'd done this 3 or 4 times in the last few months and always pulled the same record out!

Todd Rundgren - I saw the light. I could play this record on a loop that never ends and I'd never get tired of it. In fact I have been doing that for 36 years. (Northern wise I would have said The Yum Yums)

It could be Spanish but I wasn't sure if the Spain issue had a tri centre (or was on Decca). Seems to have been released everywhere, this one.

Booking it £127 (auction price) in JM British book. Surely not? What is a sensible price anyway, I have one for sale in EX condition, one mark, plays mint or mint minus.

Blossoms - Thats When the tears start - reprise issue. Lovely copy in at least EX condition, it has a very, very mild storage lift, it's too small to call it a warp and wouldn't even be mentioned by a lot of people. Asking £35 & 1.75 recorded delivery postage. sold

I don't know about that - I've never actually heard it played out in the 30 or so years since I first heard it on that Sold On Soul compilation. Hooked me first time I ever heard it.

The problem is, in 75, 76, there were hundreds imported and it actually was £10 or under and they were everywhere. Without exagerrating, even in this village I live in two people have still got it. When the hip hop/breaks people starting using samples from the album, it underwent a massive price hike and it's more likely to be £75 and over now.

Yeah I think I could have got that going by how many calls I had on it - though I only sold it cos I replaced it with the demo, and that was only £83..

I think I'd want 100 for the 45. I got 2 copies of the LP out of one shop once, but they were Italian copies. UK LP probably 50.
