Whats The Dearest Bootleg Pressing
The question should really be "what's the rarest bootleg pressing" because these freaks who pay silly money for pressings on ebay are just mugs. People seem so shit-scared to actually put their own prices on things nowadays without consulting a price guide or a web site. John & Weirdest bootleg is worth £30 tops, Yum Yums the same.

British Chubby Checker Value
Don't ever believe a word Mick says, he'd have had one for years by then (I know this because he scanned me loads of his records for me to use when I used to do the Beatin Rhythm magazine, usually accompanied with a note saying 'bet you haven't got one of these') n.b. I think issue 2 has a cameo parkway special and all the scans are in that issue - it was 18 years ago now so I'm not sure exactly

A bit light and fluffy but pleasant enough - comes in a cracking pic sleeve as well

Who Likes Girl Group Sounds? Anybody?
Got quite a nice and probably obscure double sider you might like, not really Northern but classic girly sound, will post it up in a minute

British Chubby Checker Value
Yeah I'd love to know what the story is with the US one, I've never had that record on US, why's it so scarce, why was it only pressed on the one coast etc, and what about the runmours that it was recorded in the UK!!

Does This Record Actually Exist?
Here it is then, paid around £140 for this yesterday, amazed to see it's an issue and not a demo so someone actually bought a copy! Still the first time I've ever seen it, I've had a lot of rare records, I remember it took me nearly 30 years to find a Matt Lucas, this one's also 30 years worth of looking

Rarities For Sale
Kinnell mate if I could afford to I'd just lend you the money, when someone wants a record this bad I can relate to it totally. But I've got to be able to make a bit of profit to justify buying...

Don't think there is a bootleg of this, the CSP one is the only reissue as far as I know. The Jim Webb version also came out on UK CBS, it's great!- Bobby Kline-say Something Nice To Me, Original, How Much ?
In the bin hopefully..- British Chubby Checker Value
For a start, CP is a Pye label and they were massive and had huge distribution, so they are certainly going to make a lot of demos. Philips issued no demos at all during the mid 60's, just stickered ones, after that they put out as many as others in the polygram group (polydor/philips/mercury/fontana) but their distribution was obviously very poor at the time. Chubby Checker was selling records in 1961 but by 1965 nobody knew who he was, the Beatles had obliterated him and all of the other US imports and even Elvis was barely selling a record in 1965 so I bet if they had the figures that it would have sold less than 50 copies, seriously.- Live Recordings On Tape
Wow you never told me about that! Send us one Chris and I'll send you something you definitely won't have- An All Time Low?
I really regret never seeing it and I only heard good things about it so I'm not slagging off the play for a minute, just the fact that Paul's not impressed by people recycling the Wigan legend and the whole nostalgia trip- British Chubby Checker Value
Vice versa what you said. It's common sense that the demos going to be way easier than the issue. How many demos made? Maybe 300? How many issues sold? About 5!- Value Of Lenny Curtis - Nothing Etc - End
It's pointless asking. If someone says X someone else will say Y and then a third will say it's neither of those because it was actioned for 3 times the amount of the first one. Best advcice, see what it says in the price guide then divide by two.- An All Time Low?
Can you just remind us about the stage play you were involved in, forget what it was called now...- An All Time Low?
Well said that man- An All Time Low?
How much are we talking about.? When I say meet I mean "see him perform". So £5?- New And Contemporary Soul
If by new and contemporary soul you mean music recorded outside of the 60's, no, not too keen really- An All Time Low?
Although a RW or JV autograph is not top of my agenda by any means, I would actually pay money to meet Dean Parrish as would a lot of others by the sound of it. Not that I'm going to like, but I would in principal.- northern related video post
I posted absolutely everything I had up to You Tube so that everyone could see it but you're not saying anything about posting any of your stuff up, just listing it...so unless we all come round to your house, how are we ever going to see it? If this stuff were available anywhere for sale I'd buy the lot and post it up, but unless anyone knows otherwise, it's not..- Lorraine Chandler - Love You Baby
Whoever did the vocal on Love You Baby has a better voice than Lorraine Chandler....Simon S is probably still around, I'll tell you why, when Ian Levine was running his ANS forum, I made some comment about SS abd something he was meant to have done, and he actually emailed me personally to deny it! - Shane Martin - I Need You
