  3. Ian he just sounds like hees got his hand over his mouth when he speaks but obviously he hasnt! He was always interested in how much the originals of P&P or PAP labels were in UK. When I told him one on P&P (Florence ?) was about £100 or $200 in US he said halfway through lunch "stay here Ill be back in an hour".True to his word one hour later he turns up with lots of 12" he wanted me to buy to sell in Uk but nothing on P&P but asked me the name of any dealers I knew in UK! Marvellous experience for me watching him operate!
  4. Sounds Like Rufus Lumley with the flu - Not bad though for a pop record with a danceable beat! Whreres my prize Marky boy Double or Nothing!

send me a mailer with some stamps in it and an address label and you can have my cracked copy- It does play with the odd click but it plays right through. You might be able to do abteer repair job than me!
  9. Id find the next bootleg ( e.g Elipses) of a big sound and play it - cos everyone would think Im going to play the gretest set of all time and then reality would kick in and I would play my modest originals! which are ten times better than a piece of £10 bootleg shite!

  20. I am sorry but if a precedent is set then it will apply to all where the rights are owned. How do you distinguish between whats acceptable because it is 30 years old and whats not acceptable because it is 5 years old. It doesnt work like that . Where is the age cut off point? 10 years 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 ,15 - I am sure you undertsand my point. I actually hope the Big companies fail It looks like legal minefield- Simple where the beatles or other 45s that have the big A on them and the writing eg Not for sale but what about the EMI ones that just had a sticker - How could they prove that was a promotional copy - If the sticker has been removed! Remeber alot of what we think are obsucre records are actually listed with these big companies as rights owned. Its going to be fun!
