Men jailed for ‘fake’ vinyl records scam
- Men jailed for ‘fake’ vinyl records scam
Things of beauty 🤢, I collect those 🤥 and find it hard to get a proper discography 👸🏽 of the Kingy records 🙈 and their rather complicated catalogue numbering system 👾... Boot or worthless reissues... as Johnny Moore sang; Just be for real !- Men jailed for ‘fake’ vinyl records scam
This is how pervert "masterminds" operate. Just like to spread rumors, take some true facts then add up all the little twisted lies to trouble any attempt to tell appart the facts from the "mythology". This is how fake "historians" help create new Nations with "founding myth" made of that.- Bob Abrahamian Collection Preserved
Totally second that. Records are made to be played, loved and cared for. Like he did. And that is in home collections. Not in museums or libraries. So even for BobA legacy, to make a comprehensive like documentary with all his radio shows on DVD or so, funded with the sales of his record collections, should be something much more eloquent. But who am I to judge...- Diggin' Deep - New Soul Label - Limited Edition Soul 45's
No, just logged in and out with no issue. I'd suggest that you contact Paypal ASAP...- Film Festival - FortyFive Searching for Soul! Manchester 2nd March 2018

Fantastic ! Thanks for sharing that video Mike. Such an anti-commercial effort, I love it. A favorite record of mine for such a long long time for the bluesy flip I must admit.- Dynamics - Ice Cream Song 1969
- Bobby Freeman RIP
On the other side of "deeper" soul the show, Bobby showed his talent as he could be "versatile" in genres of music and not losing the soul touch...- Bobby Freeman RIP
Long time ago, in the days when I was still buying records I've never heard of before, I bought cheap that 45 on Loma by that dude. I loved instantly on first hearing both 'I've got a good thing' but I 'lies' remained my favorite side. To this day it still works the same for me. Drama soulfulness slice of life at it's best. Thanks Bobby and farewell.- Leon Haywood R I P
I love so many stuffs through the decades by the MAN. But when I grabbed this 45 for the first time some 20 years ago, it grew up on me instantly to become my very favorite of him. For some weird reasons on Youtube it only features the dreaded added strings versions of 'you know what' on Atlantic. So I dug out my Evejim copy and did an mp3 of it. Sorry can't access my Youtube account anymore. RIP SIR HAYWOOD. leon haywood rip.mp3- Leon Haywood R I P

- Spyder Turner - You're Good Enough For Me
Check it out. The promo copy of 'stand by me' is a double 'A' side. That is an odd and first-time for an early 1967 MGM single. Spyder's 'stand by me' take was submitted as a demo tape to MGM and they decided to issue it right away. And since it was a 'one' song demo thing, it could only be issued as a double 'A' side 45. The air-play reaction was immediate and the commercial/stock release had to be issued in a rush to meet the public demand while it was still "hot". So they manage through Clay McMurray (then Spyder Turner manager) who was a corner-stone in all that small Detroit business and music industry to get unreleased material from Thelma records collection. And so it was "intentionally" released as the 'B' side with a fake/cover-up singer name. Listen close it's all Thelma and Matthews... Funny and great stuffs.- Spyder Turner - You're Good Enough For Me
- Deep Soul - Label Resurrected with Two New 45s
Same here, never kept a copy of Jaibi but I always picked it up and before it become a "collector" item amongst the "soul" or "northern soul" front, I always sold it as a "pop" record. Which is what it always sounded to me. With all the respect due to those who, like Dave Godin who listen to it differently than me, I understand the selector's choice for it's release as the label revive with Dave G. special mention for it. ***** Ady- Eddie Foster R.I.P.
