  1. That's the better one, "Call Me" is a great track. Would guess £200 / £250 for a decent copy. Cheers, Ady
  2. Hi Steve, Firstly, nice one Gibber There were a couple of presses of this 45, one is release no. 1002 with "Let me walk away" on the flip. Then there's 1004 with "Call Me" on the flip. There's a bit of a price difference between them. Regards, Ady
  3. They were indeed
  4. Just thought, he put me onto it as well ! I'll thank him for both of us
  5. Hi Steve, Great little record ! I got mine off John Manship a few years ago for about thirty/forty quid? They did another nice one on the label, but that's a slower tune if I remember correctly, but very nice. Regards, Ady
  6. sounds quite nice mischief. Does it have a picture of a Mars bar on it ?
  7. To be honest Nev, I was blown away when I saw the post about it being in a price guide for £850 as I don't have any price guide books. When I got the record off my son I think he charged me a few dollars. It's a pleasant tune, rare, but if someone with a greater knowledge on values than me says its £850, then..... ......Deal !!
  8. Sorry Ted, not rigged up to do sound files yet. Can anyone else help out with one? please. It seems like its a pretty rare 45, I know Stevie Z plays it out, does anyone else? I love the Professionals 45 on the label, its a slower track but bloomin good.
  9. If anyone wants my 'Hollywood Saxons - Loving You' for £850 I'd sell it. PM me or email adypotts at hotmail dot co dot uk

Hi John, I have number 733 on the label, The Extremes - The Bells / That's all I want. I see it's written by Bobby Sanders. Anyway, noticed under PARO RCORDS it says Product of Highland Records. I've not seen the record you mention, so don't know if it has the Highland info on your label? Regards, Ady.
  11. Lot more expensive on U.K., probably the best part of a hundred quid.
  12. While we're talking red & yellow Actions, I have a Barbara Mason "Slipping away" / "Half a love" in Mint- condition that someone has recently asked me to sell to them. What price should this be? can't remember finding one of these before & I can't find it on popsike. Regards, Ady.
  13. Re Los Angeles, pm Mike Vague on here, always has some nice records for sale & is an easy fella to deal with. He deals in all types of music. Forget the shops, too hit & miss, you'll just end up spending all day driving mile after mile. Would guess it's pretty hot out there at the moment. Good luck ! Ady.
  14. Thanks for posting that up George, fascinating info ! Ady.
  15. Hi George, Dead wax info : On the "F.T.R.O.M.L" side it just has A-1611. On the "You made me beg" side it has A 1610 then it has SS & what looks like a small dash with 3 small lines crossing it. So not much info in the dead wax I'm affraid. Have you researched the group at all ? Ady
  16. Hi George, Looking at the vinyl on "For the rest of my life" it seems it was pressed at a different pressing plant to other numbers on the label. Mind you I only have 3 others, but they seem to have been pressed over at ARP, where as "F.T.R.O.M.L" seems to have been pressed at more of a local budget type of plant as the vinyl looks to be of poorer quality recycled vinyl. I don't think it was a case of most copies being sent overseas, more likely they just got chucked. But have a dig around in Cleveland, bet there's copies yet to be found, that's where mine came from. Regards, Ady.
  17. Brenda & the Tabulations - That's in the past - Dionn demo, Rodd Keith, Barbara Mason, etc. No reserves. Grab a bargain time ! https://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/soulinc123_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_ipgZ

  19. I seem to remember 2 copies of Georgous George & a copy of the Jimmy Church at about the same time. But to put it on this list ?
  20. Melvin Davis on Ke Ke La Wanda William on Ke Ke
  21. Hi Andy, "Give"?....Rob? must admit, being just a vinyl collector & not a dj I'm not really the best home for this copy, only ever played it once, it really should be in someones play box for everyone to enjoy. It's a record I always associate with you Andy, talking of which, isn't it about time you got back behind a pair of decks ? Perhaps in the Stewartby area ? Problem was, when you dj'd records seemed to start flying around the room, seem to remember having to duck once to avoid a low flying Admirations on Peaches ! Ady
  22. So did I.....
  23. For instance was it Amazing Dancing Band "Deep blue train" on Verve? . I was just going through me British, forgot I'd got one of these. Just played it bet they never sold many copies on release It's just that I like Verve sleeves & I need records to put in them.
  24. We had a situation at Stewartby on Sat where one of the guest dj's wouldn't take his wages, said he's not in it for the money, what a nice gesture

My issue's a blue label, never seen a brown one. Going by all the above issue copies looks like there's quite a few around.
