A brief intro...
Brought up in Huddersfield Clubs I used to frequent there were The StarlightLord Jim'sHi-FiAnd the pre Nighter meeting place was the Royal Swan on Saturday afternoons.During the week Howard Earnshaw ran a number of venues as well like the Coach House and the Wagon and Horses.Leeds Central was one I had a spell of attending regularly for a while.The Nighters I regularly attended were Wigan, Cleethorpes, St Ives and a couple around Nottingham.I knew many great characters through the years from all over although most were from Huddersfield Leeds and Nottingham.My wife Pauline came from the Dewsbury area so I got to make some good friends there as well.Not so many Nighters nowadays the you never loose the music and my Favourite Venue at the moment is Leeds Central.If you want to know more don't hesitate to ask me.
