  1. Hi Another PM for ya, ta.
  2. Post did say in your hand, not just got so, not very hip/rare/indemand or whatever but.... Spinners 1972 LP Bought it when released and still play it (as I do the Ohio Players 1st LP) Wonder if anybody still plays/guys LP's anymore?
  3. Yeah, he also had baggy trousers on and large pupils (thats eyes not fat schoolkids) Just realised how stupid the vest/longhair comment was.
  4. Always wondered about Kevin Rowland and Mark Almond? (not in that way)
  5. Personally I thought the acrobatics went a bit too far, sometimes is was like watching a gymnastics competition. For me it was all about the feet and the interpretation of the music. I'm sure I recall the "best" dancers right hand side of the stage, do remember one bloke always wore a vest and I'm sure he had longish hair, never stopped!
  6. So.........., the original is on charger right?, and all of the ones i see for sale are repos? As per JM's website. Ta!
  7. Thanks all I'm sure i haven't seen one for sale in the last year? Anywhere.
  8. Thanks SS How rare is it? Either label S
  9. Hi Probably should know this but...... How rare is the original (charger?) issue of "out on the floor" and price? Cheers ATB Steve
  10. Forgive me , could just be me but its very hard to read. S
  11. Bought my M- copy offa soul source and yes slight surface noise. Top record, would love a non noisey one S
  12. Not very interesting I know but I'm bored... Four Tops and Detroit Spinners, same bill, Hull ABC cinema (?), can't remember date not others that may have been on as well. Ohio Players, Hammersmith Odeon - 78/79? Parliament/Funkadelic same venue, date not sure Ta
  13. When the night has come, and the moon is dark, and the moon is the only light i see"............. Bit slightly faster Nice though
  14. I love him and his fence
  15. Have these people who pay these inflated prices never heard of this website? Best and cheapest place to buy in my opinion. Surely a google search might throw up some alternative as well? They are mental and I wish they would stop it.

  17. To be honest i thought the scene finished around 1980 ! (or earlier as it was getting a bit watered down by that point). Little did I know----------, met a 100 club regular around a year ago who told me about soul source, got in contact again with some old friends and discovered it hadn't finished, just moved on. Is the scene just packed with old geezers? Love my oldies but I'll listen to and buy anything from any era (to be honest if its new to me I've no idea when or where it was played) as long as its good.
  18. Yeah I looked at that, thanks Ian, might pop in for a bit.
  19. Thanks SuperC, I'll google them. I did go to a couple of 100 club all niters in my early years in London, as I said not sure if I could manage one now and prob not wise at my age to take medicine to help. S
  20. Thanks Richie
