  1. I think you will find that Mike has moved the racist discussion to a different thread. QoFxx
  2. Well I thank you for being my Saviour but I have managed the last 50 years without you and hey guess what I'm still here. I would love to know who these people who "think poorly" of me are..............well apart from you and joko of course And I am washing my hair, painting my nails, cleaning, cooking etc and all the things us little girlies should stick to next week so wouldn't possibly have time for a drink. And I still think JB is an irritating numpty...........so your argument hasn't worked on me, so best you enroll in debating classes along with the charm classes you so obviously are working very hard at. 3. Patronism for breakfast with your cornflakes was it "dear" QoFxx
  4. I can see where you are coming from on the Kylie thing, but as someone who fought through major cancer surgery 11 years ago and thankfully got through it and so have other people I know but I suppose their thinking behind Kylie's honour is that because she is such a liked public figure it will give other people inspiration to fight on against it and realise that it is not necessarily the end of your life. 5. Maybe I should of added "In my opinion" which all it is and as this is an open discussion forum I would think I have to right to my opinion on whatever topic I choose even if I don't have the same opinions as yourself. At least I do not fly off personal insults at people even when I disagree with there opinions, I just say it how I see it on the topic up for discussion even if I am not obviously as knowledgable as yourself. Maybe you think people should only have opinions when they have a masters degree in any given subject. QoFxx
  6. Have always loved the lyrics to Jerry WIlliams "If you ask me", think it is one of the greatest love songs ever written QoFxx

  8. Through work i get small containers of spray cleaner, called polarclean. It is produced to clean spectacles. This contains 'Isopropanol' and seems to work very well on dirty or slightly scratched records, we also produce a non scratch, lint free cloth which are great and even better cos I get it all free QoFxx

I have told Richard (honky) I hate him and never put out any more CDs, his last one cost me a fortune (by my standards) by extending my wants list, one record in particular and think I have bought a couple more that I first heard on the CD he put out as well. Think you can guess which one Steve . QoFxx
  18. A couple of weekends ago I was at home in Rhyl on my monthly parental trip and went into Mark & Chicos shop, Funky Feet, to pick up a few records I had ordered off them while at a soul night. This was the first time I had been in a "record shop" in about 25 years. It had that great friendly feeling of the old days when people popped in chatted played a few records etc. I had to get out after about half an hour before I spent all my cash. I do think that it now needs to be a combination of the shop, ebay, online sales and sales boxes at events etc. QoFxx

  23. Apart from one little thing, the other thread was "when wigan died" not the scene. I am not going into the when wigan died thing with you again but as for the scene dying in my opionion it hasn't and is as good and strong and if not stonger than it was in the 80s. QoFxx
