Modern Rooms
ANd quite rightly so I have to agree with Pete S on this one the sound of 60s music is a totally different thing to the 70s played. I actually prefer single room events that way I get to annoy all my friends as even the ones who like modern can't escape me then QoFxx

Modern Rooms
Your question "Why are modern rooms always empty?" My answer, because they are playing modern I am not a great lover of modern as most people I know will vouch for, and if there is a modern set at a one room event I don't moan about it I just go and have a fag and a natter and I have been known to dance to the odd disco tune from time to time. But on a more serious note, just because a main room isn't playing modern it certainly doesn't need to be playing , as you put "tired old oldies" You obviously go to the wrong events. QoFxx

No I hate them to, where I come from we used to call them bingo numbers cos everyone who owned an amusement arcade or bingo hall had one in the 70s and 80s. QoFxx

New Dance?
Totally agree, think it is great to see the younguns havin fun dancing again like we did (and still do hoepfully) but put with the right music and could be the scene of the future. Think the moves are great but the music is sh1t. QoFxx
