Thanks for keeping us in the picture. I am sure it is most appreciated. Everyones memories of Wigan are special and personal and quite often conflict. It seems to me that you are doing your best to portray the feeling of actually being there. It is hard sometimes to portray something that was so special to many of us in so many different ways and sometimes people get emotional when they feel that their memories are being (trying to find the right word but this will have to do) raped and pillaged ( sorry that was three words). Our funny little world we call Northern Soul has been badly portrayed in the past by people who do not understand it or have used it purely as a commercial vehicle and I think some of the negatives posts are just a reflection of what has happened in the past. I for one wish you well and I hope the film is everything you hope it to be. And for all those of you who have been negative about it I suggest, that like me, hold on to your own memories of Wigan and I hope that the film brings back memories of the earlier days of Wigan that I remember (OK so I'm old). QoF xx

I have tried three times this morning to reply to your very sad post, but for someone who most people say has too much to say for herself, I am stumped. I hope your life gets itself back on track and you come out the other side of what ever has hurt you so much with a smile. I have never met you but we have had some written banter over the last 6 months and I know there are a lot of people on SS who will miss you.
