I'll Be Around - G. Washington
Same here. LMB was reworked with a vibraphone accompaniment as 'Ratrace' a protest song in 68 or 69'. I have it on Washpan boot.

Popcorn
Been discussed twice on here in the recent and semi recent past. May leave it Tony Smith to find the thread as he had input on both and found the first one the last time (if that makes sense). Popcorn is Belgian type Northern - maybe a bit slower or wackier than we'd dance to.

Cover-ups What Do You Think Of Them?
Cover-ups are great! They add an especial spice to the northern collecting/dj'ing side of things.

Cover Up
Yep with the soundclip etc, anyone can bid what they want. Where's the problem?

The Worst Record Ever?
Simon posted it in Media. It's my last played clip. Worst Northern record ever is The Four Chaps - Will you or won't you. Not imo, it just is. Sounds like and east end barrow boy on lead vocals. Just an awful pile of truly terrible cack that makes all of the above mentioned tracks look like the Cairo's.

Who Plays Lamont Dozier
Dearest One is an absolutely superb track imo.

Value Anyone?
This part of your post could do with being a separate thread in the Look at Your Box section wazz.

Dr Love-tom Jones
Not to be sniffed at version of 'Can't Break The News' on the 68' Help Yourself LP .. Austrailian Atomic .. ps, Is this a box/media thread - Or Tom Jones and his place in northern - subject of?
-
Dr Love-tom Jones
Bit of a Box question (sorry) but kind of on topic. Snagged a copy of this (ebay $24.99) with what's described as the 'outdoors cover' .. Bit of a strange one as was only familier with the flaming issue? Item number: 250022919123

Superb Sales Technique
Bless im'. Domar Legend. Still hold him in high esteem for selling me a copy of The Webbs - Lets Party on Atlantic Demo for three pounds fifty, a thousand million year's ago.
