Back in the day US Army parkas were the only choice, unless you were a 'Brutus boy', which was nowhere man! If you had one of the shoulder epaulet thingys unbottoned on your parka, this meant 'northern soul'! I notice a good many bods (man in street - non soul fan) wearing parkas these days. Some of them come with patches already on it would seem. Not northern, but Vespa or sim. Some Brutus alike and others more authentic, like the one my boss wears, which is a bit of a worry.
