  1. Liking your opinion Mikey
  2. Andy, how you can say that mate, I just don't know. I would rate Jackie in the top three soul singers of all time along with Otis and Sam Cooke. Maybe Solomon Burke in Fourth. Just quality vocal, showman, dancer - he had it all and was a pioneer. Would be interested to hear your top three, if you have faves that is.
  3. I didn't think it fell flat Dan. I thought it was hilarious!

  5. "Fifteen years after Ronnie McNeir released his 'Love Suspect' album on Expansion Records (1987), we comemorate the Detroit soul legend¹s new status as official new member of The Four Tops. Since the passing of Lawrence Payton, Ronnie McNeir has performed internationally with the Tops adding his own magic to the veteran soul group". ?
  6. Who was the guy who replaced Lawrence Payton in the Four Tops? Did he have something to do with that film? Or am I on the wrong track?

  14. This is a good point, But when you see a Magician ( Keb Darge-Gethro from Wolves ) on the dance floor it all comes together they can make it flow....& it is a pleasure to watch......I can't coment on Suzi Cameron as I have never seen her dance..... Keep It Coming Jon Buck link
  15. I don't know any whispers first off. But do you know if the flipside of the issue is 'The light of day'?
  16. This a good thread, well done Jon. Is spinning a northern thing? I say this as we don't spin in the south anymore. This is somewhat of a generalisation, but I have noticed a decline in spinning and clapping over the past twenty years. Neither spinning nor clapping, or acrobatics make a good dancer. Its timing, beat and personal expression imo
