  1. Can you not save the track first to your PC then add to iTunes?
  2. I remember the Jo Boxers at the 100. I can remember my divvy mates wearing boxer boots when they went in the town when they were charting

I was gonna say this was always a steady £150 or thereabouts for years and surely it can't have doubled in price?
  8. I have Stratoliners down as a Pat Brady play first? Jo Ann Garrett was c/u as The Passionettes.
  9. Dave still about and living in Newcastle at the moment. I think he said he is moving back down Notts last time I spoke to him. You should get connected on FB David, plenty of old faces on there. I'll mention you to him next time we speak.
  10. I think we pretty much discounted George Smith over on the Stafford facebook page. We was wondering if Jock heard right and it was actually Hey Little Girl which Pat sometimes used for Carl Carlton (Jnr McCants)? I can honestly say I never heard Pat use or have any tape recording etc to back up that Pretty Little Girl was Jnr McCants.

I agree why not? You are missing out on some great soul music via cd. Don't necessarily agree the quality is better but I like to have a hard copy and copy to PC and iPod. Download if that's the only way or if I just want a particular track and not the whole cd.
  12. I don't care how naughty they are Byrney, I wanna her them I can remove the names for legal reasons if I use the story
  13. It came from John Vincent as far as I am aware. John told me he offered it to Richard late Wigan and Richard said it was too good for the Northern crowd.
  14. Have you been through the Stafford podcasts David? There was quite a few you hadn't got on your page?

  16. It was probably me who duplicated your recording. Don't think I've this one so will download for tomorrow's listening alongside Ian Levines.
  17. I have the same radio session on my mixcloud page as well as 11 more from Yarmouth courtesy of Alan Thompson. https://www.mixcloud.com/Chalkster/
  18. Not yet Kirsty, he was away on a buying trip and he will no doubt be busy with Brid but I will remind him. I will let you know if he remembers any.
  19. Some years ago there was a monthly magazine called the Blues Collection where it featured an one artist per issue and you got a cd with it. I have the first 30 issued (there was 93 in all) plus one Christmas edition, all in excellent condition with the cd's in most cases only having one play. Sensible offers are invited for anyone interested. Don't know what postage would cost for 30 CD's and magazines? Maybe we can sort something out to collect. They make up a great history of the Blues. https://www.discogs.com/lists/The-Blues-Collection/25834
  20. I know this is of no help but Lloyd and Glen has to have one of the best cover up names ever..... "Maurice Simon and the Piemen" No prize for guessing Guy Hennigan.

I take it you mean in general throughout the label Dave as apposed to the rarest full stop?

Without looking just a change of design isn't it? Patrice Holloway and the earlier ones on the plain yellow with two bars, several of them withdrawn. The multicoloured a later design.

Patrice Holloway is possibly the hardest on the label with Stevie/Boy of my dreams. Two or three known copies I think.
  25. The one from the decks at the Rocket had some feedback at he beginning. If this is slower it is only very slightly. It's records like this that made me go back to an allnighter every week, and the hope I would hear more new discoveries like it, it is what it should be all about, top notch northern soul. Must be one of the longest cover ups alongside Diane Lewis?
