  1. $1030.75 = £656.53 20 bids. The label appears to have changed to trundel as well.
  2. Can't remember for sure, I thought he was with a mate out of another show???? Could have been bother cast member.
  3. he used to come to Sheridans along with one form Holyoaks and one from Emmerdale I think. They were in Paul Sadot's play OUATIW.
  4. Plenty down the 100 Club. Back in 80's JoBoxers....or was it Fine Young Cannibals There should be a long list of some whop have frequented the 100 Club, Mark Lamarr, Paul Weller etc.....
  5. He is a mate of Ian's. Into the music as well.

They used I think the Beat Shows and that 3 dvd set of soul singer footage that came out around that time.

It was a great idea and had plenty of comments about it on the night......I used the deck with no camera for cover ups The quality was really good though and as said no need to go running to the decks.
  8. I once saw what I thought was £15 record sell for about £50, dug a copy out to sell and cracked it in half whilst cleaning it ...can't remember what it was, Larry Houston or something like that. Wsn't mine though it was the ex's so wasn't too bothered
  9. Last one I cracked was Attractions - Why Shouldn't A Man Cry Hope you are well Derek
  10. Give Me Your Sweet Love - Etah. Guy's old Darrow Fletcher (Angel Up Above) cover up. Whats the going rate for one of these nowadays?
  11. The red issue on ebay a while back sold for $6767...which for a record with three known copies compared to the price of some others seemed a little cheap. Maybe the more occasional availability of the demo detracted from the price. The dollar value mid may 2010 when the red issue sold was 1.4321 USD (19 May 2010) it's lowest rate apparently.
  12. Maybe prices are falling back to the price they should have been in the first place, after all it has been an over inflated market for some years in many cases. Of course trophy records will always fetch the money, at least whilst the DJ exists but there are still plenty of cheap records selling for more than they should.
  13. always been the case though Bob over the years so nothing has changed really, as I said tastes change and records fall out of favour.
  14. US $1,791.00 Not bad for a record that by all accounts looks f*cked with a crack, all this in a market that is in decline and prices of rare soul plummeting
  15. Yes and 40 to 60 quid records are all of a sudden worth £160 and records like the High Keys is all of a sudden worth £400 for a demo and £650 for an issue.....prices coming down? Don't think so. Sure there are bargains to be had, always has been, taste change and records fall out of favour, supply and demand will always keep the record market healthy.

You didn't say that though to start with that is why I replied with the reply I did......and no I said I heard it late 80's early 90's, reading your post number 5 it wasn't played till ten years ago then you replied to be saying never played when I said I'd heard it 80's and 90's...bit vague your reply. I definitely heard it a longer than 10 years ago.
  17. Yep red issue the rarest. Just three copies I think.
  18. Can we be a bit more specific and give a little more info either in the topic title or in the original post then at least people know what link the are going to. Many will have already seen the listing and be watching so no need to follow the link. Thanks

The other side I did hear out before 10 to 12 years ago...just because you didn't hear it doesn't mean it wasn't played out. I have it on tape somewhere in the garage from at least one DHJ who played it. It simply got more popular 15 years ago.

The demos go for around £250 don't they? Why sell an issue for £100 or more less than you could realistically get? I can remember both sides getting played late 80's early 90's.
  21. Rare pop/rock n roll have dominated the prices on ebay far more often than soul records have, just one in this list.... https://www.popsike.c...h.php?top25=all I know there are instances of soul records fetching 5 figures privately but I bet the same can be said of many pop records.
