  1. Sid Jones has (or had last week) an Atco demo.
  2. abrasive telephone manner no excuse for bad manners especially when some one is telephoning with the intention of buying something
  3. This record has been turning up for the last 4 years or so according to the wisest of the wise It's actually been known about since mid 90's and still very few copies, what one known issue? handful of demos??? When it does show it's more than £500 If records like the Cashmeres can go for $2k, Bill Bush for £1500 etc etc, then £500 for Stormie Wynters is laughable by comparison.
  4. I though most of the origianl raves were in fields, barns, quarry's...anywhere away from prying eyes
  5. they may have had a wider more commercial appeal but as a dance scene it's still underground...it's hardly your saturday night clubbing scene is it?

$900 was july 2004. was one on ebay in November for $417 and a few months previous for $545.
  22. agree with your comments. Have seen/heard some DJ's play some fantastic records but unfortunately the way the set was put together it just didn't work, didn't flow etc so would be like you say pretty misleading to how the night went.
  23. trouble is not that many venues that don't play played out oldies very few that cater for the leser known side of the scene many playlists I see would make me think twice about some venues so tend not to take much notice of them. If you are about on a regular basis you tend to get to know the dj's on the scene and what they tend to play. Normally I can make my own judgement from a flyer as to what to expect regardless of what the promoters promise
