Funny you should say that One of the band members has/had a copy and he either saw the e-bay listing or was informed of it and promptly put his up for sale at £3000...sure it's been sold. He contacted a few people over here about it.

It maybe in the Wand listing but no one has ever seen one.

Two known copies of Margaret Little, makes it twice as rare as Frank Wilson Prophets and Moments handful only and considering rarity not a bad price IMO. Tommy Ridgely fair pric, personally rate it £1500. James Lately another rare piece and fair price IMO. Forston & Scott way overpriced IMO, not $5000 rae, turned one of these down for about £100 mid 90's and they were kicking about then. Just Brothers not often seen for sale neither is Tina Roberts. Only seen couple or so Tina Roberts since I turned one down from Pete Lawson for £60 in favour of two other records at Bradford Queens Hall Two Plus Two rare rare piece, handful only. The buyer doesn't pay that sort of money for something that is common. Been known about amongst collectors but virtually unknown to the dancefloors.

It all brings a smile to my face cause you just can't beat soul music. It's the first thing I hear in the morning, well after the alarm that is and the last thing I hear at night

Rock Candy "Alone" is the Contemplations. Rock Candy recorded the other side and had nothing to put on the flip so they stuck the Contemplations on there and changed their name to Rock Candy.

I'm not right just stating my opinion. Would prefer to go out every week and hear different DJ's playiing different records and like I originally said wouldn't want a good record like the Sensations getting ruined by over exposure (IMHO).

Not that I'd ever want this to happen but if it did hypothetically it would be Tommy Ridgely - My Love Gets Stronger - International City.

No DJ "big" or "small" will break a record if he or she doesn't get the exposure. And why do all records have to cost £100's.. I know lots of records played by so called "big" djs that are not expensive, covered up and uncovered.

I also agree that whether or not a record is 50p or 5k and it's good enough to play then it should be played....does't mean every dj has to play the same record.

No chip at all and I'm not on about who found what when or where...all I'm saying is if more DJ's played different records "on the right format" as you call it then the scene would be healhtier musically. Instead everyone running after the same records and all you hear everywhere is these same records....thats why I said it wouldn't bother me if no more turned up as it would just ruin it as so many records have been ruined IMO that have been hammered to death.

Hear it most weeks by those who got behind it... Supposee thats the trouble with todays scene..to many sheep afraid to put the work and find their own style
  14. Chalky posted a post in a topic in Record Wants
I know you don't want it to DJ. And why would I want to play it...some of mates decided to get behind this record and fuill credit to them for helping it take off the way it has. Now everyone wants it which is understandable as it's a quality record but none capable of finding their own identity, would sooner pay big money for indemand records Would sooner spend the money on something different..and cheaper. The record has been around years just never really had it's day until recently...Steve Smith and Butch both gave it spins late 80's early 90's.

I hope no more turn up personally, enough Dj's playing it. If more and more keep turning up it will get hammered and ruin the record

Can assure you it is available vredited to Castor..I don't know why he's not listed it, maybe he's not had a copy through his hands, maybe Castor copies are rarer Bought mine when it was still covered up, Ritcie Adams if I remember rightly

Hasn't been too cheap for a long while. Kitch and Dean brought a small handful back early 90's I think and they were £150 then. Steve Smith only paid summat like a tenner for his in the 80's though
