Mixed Emotions - 'gold Of My Life'
Found the following which, might be of some help? We are the only authorized sellers of the legendary Mixed Emotions Single Gold of My Life / Can You Feel the Funk produced in 1975 by Elijah Cole, Jr. History: In 1975 Elijah Cole Jr. produced the Mixed Emotions 45 single Gold of My Life / Can You Feel the Funk under his own label Rock-Way in a limited edition of 300 records. These singles were never for sale to the general public, they were given away to friends and family. Elijah Cole also sent his singles to record companies trying to find a distributor, but nobody was interested. Nevertheless the songs, although never offically made public, became favorites with fans of 70s funk music through illegal pressing and distribution. The songs were bootlegged, put on compilation CD's, distributed over the internet and performed in public. All without the knowledge and authorization of its owner. In fact, since its production Elijah Cole hasn't made a single penny off of his creation, while others have been reaping the profits over the years. Only now, for the very first time, Felicia Anne Kemper, Elijah Cole's daughter, is offering his original Mixed Emotions single to the general public in an extending edition only available through this web site. This edition is not a re-issue, since there never was an original issue to the public.

Mixed Emotions - 'gold Of My Life'
It's unlikely you will find an original has most of all those available are Boots, the way to tell is the real Mixed Emotions don't have the engineer's name on the label. The represses do have the engineer's name on the label D

Offical Play List Wilton 21st Jan. 2005
I've been going to the Wilton, since the very 1st soul night at the back end of the 8ts and sometimes yes, the music may not be as good as previous nights. However, most of the time it's been brilliant, well to me it has but there again I'm biased; Mouse and Pelle have been two of my closest friends (plus Derek P & Bob H) No, friendship has nothing to do with it, it's been down to the music policy, the policy of giving collectors like myself the chance to DJ and play tunes other DJ's would never play. Some of these tunes are cheap, some expensive, some not so good and some have been truly superb. This is what the Wilton has been built on, the same music policy which came from its predecessor, "the Carlton club" and will I'm told be same policy for the future and if that means some DJ playing modern, then so be it. The new guys who will be co-promoting alongside Mouse, John Britton & Dave Box will need all our support and do not mind in the slightest for constructive critisism. So if you think things are not to your liking let 'em know but in a positive way. Before I get off me soap box the Wilton all-nighters will have been going 11 years, yes 11 *@*@ing years, enough said! Dave Guiry
