its a plague thats hitting the soul scene right now,affecting all areas, maybe we have had it too good for too long and its our turn to have the crap now. Lets hope they dont destroy too much while the interest is on us.

Well it would appear that Lincoln has now been subjected to the ''wannabes'' and lost another long established and well respected night now in the form of Ad-Lib, a venue which for the past six years has played the very best of club and 6ts soul and RnB. The persons concerned haven't bothered about clashing with dates, they bypassed that by booking Ad-Libs venue for regular nites of similar sorts of music to that of Ad-Libs music policy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sincere respect to all those associated with New Century Soul, certainly a big noise on the scene over the past 5 years. Hopefully when the world and his dog has had enough of trying to put on a soul nite at every corner that houses electricity and they get tired of the hard work and dedication that they require, New Century Soul will arise once again to really show them how its all done properly. How brilliant was it to hear the palais in full flow again. Thanks for posting these up Simon. Brought back some fantastic memories of the best days/nites ever and a tear or two remembering some very dear friends no longer with us....
