Evie Sands
Many Thanks, same format as this DEMO for DEE DEE SHARP. (West Coast) I Think the White Label was the East Coast Variation for Evie Sands. Some Cameo DEMOs have the Yellow Label, However, I don't know if Evie Sands has a Yellow Label Variation. I have been trying to find out the reason behind the Red, White or Yellow Labels for the DEMO format. So far I haven't seen a White Label Variation for C-347. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

According To >>> Anoraks Corner <<< Guessing this may be one of the Pressing Plants First Copy "Shelley Products, Ltd", New York = (Raised X) & Of Course Second Copy (by the Font as well) Monarch Pressing Plant = Delta Number (X = Denotes The B Side)

Luther Ingram Hib - Unknown Label Variant?
The comparison that I am drawn to is the Art Freeman RED Label Promotion Copy. West Coast >>> LINK 2007 <<< West Coast DEMO's Quite Often Coloured as opposed to White. Difficult to tell from a scan, however; This Could be a West Coast Promotion Copy, Hence its Rarity. (Those Monarch Stamps and Matrix are Intriguing & Normally a 100% Indication date wise) The X on a Monarch in this Instance denotes the B Side not to be confused with the other descriptions "Raised X" for this record. If It Is A Known BOOT or Counterfeit then it's definitely one that I haven't seen before.

Dean Courtney/we Have A Good Thing
Hi Harry Yes I'm Fine Thanks, Hope You Are Too. Must Admit I Havn't Seen A Stock Copy For This. The RCA Stock Copy For "I'll Always Need You" Virtually Impossible As You Have Already Mentioned. I Only Managed The White DEMO, Never Had A Realistic Chance Of A Stock Copy. PopSike.com Most Stock Copies, When Returned From Stores Were Destroyed, So The Story Goes.

Same Release Number - Different Recordings
Hi Kev Nice One Mate. Funny How Ric-Tic Chose Not To Release, 113 or 126 but Released 139 Always Told That the Number 13 Increment Considered Unlucky, so may be a Myth.

Jackie Lee Live In The Uk?
Too True Dave, The Hunt Continues. They Were Responsible For A Couple Of Mysterious Releases. According To The Listings. Loma 2004 - Bob and Earl - Everybody Jerkb/w Just One Look In Your Eyes Mirwood 5507 - Bob & Earl - Dancin' Everywhere / It's Over As far as I am aware, nobody has ever found a copy. Believed to be unissued.
-
Same Release Number - Different Recordings
I am Intrigued as to the reasons behind some of these releases. Possibly Long Forgotten Reasons Today, Pressing Plants Working on Manufacturing Instruction & Cost Involved. Were They. 11th Hour Changes, Mistakes, Repromotion or even Regional Taste These have all crossed my mind as I have tried to piece things together.
-
Same Release Number - Different Recordings
Yes, Some Companies Chose To Move To Another Number and Leave A Number Unissued, Sometimes Superstition RE: Number 13 (i.e. Ric-Tic) Others Simply Kept The Sequence Number & Changed Things Within It As You Mention.

Same Release Number - Different Recordings
I Have Been Slowly Collecting The Audio Arts! Label Over The Years. Bought This Stock Copy A Few Months Back. I Can't Find It On Any Label Discography. I Have Tried To Find Out If This May Have Been The Intended B Side As The Delta Numbers Follow. Standing Here Crying & Lost Without You DELTA # 73868 & DELTA # 73869 >>> ANORAKS CORNER <<< Places It At October / November 1968 I Can Only Assume That It Was The Intended B Side. Anyone? I Know That Audio Arts! Did Use Sides More Than Once, Seems Strange For "All Of A Sudden" To Be On 60016 & 60017 Only A Guess But Wondering If "All Of A Sudden" Was A Last Minute Change Of B Side For 60017 The Tetragrammaton release of The Incredibles - "Standing Here Crying" was a Later release with "All Of A Sudden" as the flip.

Same Release Number - Different Recordings
We Keep Finding Various Label Variations & Different Pressing Plants For The Same Release Number. Not sure how many times this has happened where the Actual A or B Side Changed Too. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------DELTA # 73868----- & ----DELTA # 73869 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Copies Have: 12157 - Judy Clay - You Busted My Mind / He's My Kind Of Guy ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apparently some have 971 - Christine Cooper - S.
