Aberdeen scooter club @ Morecambe(outside beer keller) in the 80s. this was what we wore at....scooter do's,soul nites,nighters,concerts,partys,weddings,funerals,etc,lol.

it never got aired till 11-20pm up here in jock land...so I think about 6 people seen it,lol.

it could be worse,we could all be naked,lol...now there's a half hour show,we wouldn't want on tv.

for as long as the word wigan keeps going.

was nice to see something on our working class council telly about our music. for me it showed the passion we have for soul music & how some youngsters are joining the scene,feeling how we did/do. but it was the culture show & it did what it said on the tin....all it did was open the lid,gave it a stir,making sure it hadn't gone off,lol. we all have our own reasons for getting into the music/scene & are on soul source for the love of soul... its the music that does it & no tv show,film or book will ever change that.

some of the tunes were drivel,they became the infamous tape swappers. alot of the 60's newies were white though,lol.

can also help if you buy quality rather than quantity,wether it cost £10,£30,£100.£1000.,as long as it sounds good,nobody will notice the difference in price.apart from all us on here,lol...just hope there are more lower price ones than top price. its what you do with it that counts,not the size of it.

it did for one person allegedly(just incase any comeback,lol) short lived dj steve chadwick.came from nowhere & was djn everywhere with all theses big expensive tunes. got the bug & needed to keep the tunes coming.we all know how that feels. so allegedly,the records were funded by customers money from his place of work.as in the customers weren't really soul fans,if you know what I mean,lol. me,I had to try & buy my records before too well known or found them cheap.also paid by my shop customers @ the time,but for work I had done. ps please let me know if I have to delete post,or face a high court writ,lol.
