  11. Sandra Wright needs to be stock copy with Midnight Affair on b side to be priced at £150. Demo about £50 BH
  12. Yes this one......Eric Lomax "Seven the loser" Columbia, never got what this was about back in the 70s but heard it on a compilation about 18 months ago and thought WOW. The reason why, this is pure crossover and not conventional NS, if it was discovered now it would be a monster. Good thread. BH PS Ripe for a few spins at X-over venues???
  13. Have you ever thought of getting a deal to get all this great stuff released on a retrospective of JRs work? BH
  14. For it or against it? Either way it will soon be a reality, I guess its going to be the smokers verses the non-smokers and as an ex-smoker (usually the most critical) Im all for it. Having just attended the Hilton weekender in Blackpool we commented that next year all the smokers we could see (and that was quite a lot) would have to go outside at the next one in 2008. Pity the smokers if your venue is up a few flights of stairs as some are. How will this impact at your venue?? BH

My mate Kev Johnno was selling a pretty beat copy for a friend at the Canal tavern in Thorne and he'd found a Phillips sleeve to make it look better, said sleeve had £3 marked on it in almost invisible writing. Along comes Soul Sam and pulls the record out of kevs box and puts £3 in his hand and walks away, after a rather heated exchange the record was handed back, nice try Sam The only other UK copy I ever saw was at Vintage record centre in north London at £80 in 83/84. BH
  22. Has anyone got a full soundclip of the Sonny Munroe track "Tears can only make the problem wet" as featured on JMs auction site? I have a P-vine cd with most of his Epic 45s including unreleased material but this track is not included. Thanks in anticipation BH
