  1. Yes we are going Simon and cant wait, its our first time at Blackpool so any chance of a little insight into this event, do the room times clash, do you move round the rooms to listen to your favorite djs? are there records for sale? little boxes etc CU Friday Blake & Nicky
  2. Thanks for all your very interesting views on this topic. I was one of four djs at Normantons Carlton club years ago and it was quite simple...four djs and four hours so we just moved up an hour every week and when we had a guest we all dropped down to 45 minutes each. Folks would bring record boxes with Johnny Robinson (okeh), Bill brandon (piedmont), Tommy Turner (elbam)and Jimmy J Barnes (organic) for sale. Life was so much simpler when I was a lad blah blah blah. Thanks BH
  3. All the best for 2006 to all On my once a year trip to the loft (for christmas tree, decorations etc) found a box of soul mags, and having read them all cover to cover many times over thought of selling them. They are mostly Shades of soul, Hot buttered soul and Voices from the shadows, has anyone seen these on e-bay or in the sales section of soul source? If so what sort of price were they listed at. I may try listing a couple on e-bay and see how it goes, any advice gratefully recieved . BH
