Not a Jobete. Does that help? Have you heard it before?

I have this 10" acetate without a artist name and does not sound like the four tops, so who could it be. Looking for info.

There is a copy shown on popsike that looks exactly like it with same description that sold for 2500.00. Unless this guy has more copies that have the same label stains the first buyer must have sent it back and probably as a boot which ebay does not allow.

info request on ''the group''
- pips featuring gladys knight
I can't imagine them getting much cash from this release. The flip side is ''I can't stand by''. Is this on that LP also? If this is a 'boot' then I don't think there are any other releases on this Jupiter label. Thanks for all the info.- pips featuring gladys knight
It is a 70s pressing as there is a date in the dead wax of 12/23/77. Why would they bootleg this?- pips featuring gladys knight
Thanks chalky. I noticed the date on the LP(1965) Do you think the Jupiter release is this old?- pips featuring gladys knight
I found this 45 on Jupiter by the Pips featuring Gladys Knight and can not find anything on it. Could this be considered a norther soul record and/or more info on the label etc. I attached a short clip. I would put the whole song up, but my volume keeps going to mute. If someone has a fix for this I would be grateful. Thanks pips & gladys knight morning noon & night.mp3- THIS SHOULD STOP
What about this one of the Velours on MGM? It looks like a boot to me as it looks different than my issue. What do you guys think? https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Velours-IM-GONNA-CHANGE-7-MGM-K13780-DJ-Copy-Northern-Soul-Vinyl-Single-/182161584622?hash=item2a69ad31ee:g:YbwAAOSwepJXVdE2- The William singers

Well, I'll say this. I got these acetates from the collect of J. Walsh(now deceased) who co wrote the song, so I think he would use the same singer for these. However, I guess it could be possible that he used someone else to sing as he was obviously changing things up. Song sheet enclosed. Is your copy from an acetate also?- doug banks with group
So, we agree it is Doug Banks. Great. Thanks to all.- doug banks with group
To me it does a little bit. I happen to have an acetate of that, but much slower. I posted it about two years ago and If I remember correctly members though it was Doug Banks.- doug banks with group
Would anyone know who the backup group might be? Clip deleted.- Atlantic single sided test presses - Barbara Lynn
