My cup runneth over- Rita Graham on 45
Someone has been very cute here Mike. I personally think it has always been a superb track and I reckon you'd find that many collectors and DJ's would have paid good money for it if they thought it was original? I would have been more than happy to pay say, £150 for it? If you multiply that by say 20+ other mugs like me, it's starting to work out as a lucrative project for some bootlegging fooker! Looks like I'm sticking to the LP then :-)

Trying to find date of record releases
All the above plus the great books 'The R&B Indies' Also, simply bang the info of each into discogs, you usually get year of release and often get an exact date, pressing plant details, matrix info, label variations etc Cheers Steve

Couple of wants
Hi John Thanks for re-posting this for me (still after BOTH Gil Scott Heron and Love Committee 45's by the way) Thanks for the info and the scan - i do remember the original thread and re-read it just now too, so thanks again Problem is, on the test pressing, it still doesn't give us a clue to which UK label it was destined for, as SPSR 427-1 doesn't fit in to Salsoul or Gold MInd listings? I presume it was for Salsoul so it must have been a pressing plant numbering system, as i picked up a Diana Ross TP with SPSR-399 number and i guess there will be more but only did a quick check before typing this? Any more info gratefully accepted? Cheers Steve

Love Committee = Tired Of Being Your Fool
Hi Sean/John What label is the test pressing on? Got a feeling of deja-vu, sure we discussed this when i put a want up for the same 45 a while back? Or did we have the conversation over a few beers at Yarmouth some time ago.................... Either way, i've forgotten the answer LOL x

Love Committee = Tired Of Being Your Fool
I actually had one a while back for this 45 as it happens? What's the problem piggy backing the topic, if the originator already has got a copy?
