6 fabulous 70's pressings of 60's Northern Soul classics from Rose Batiste, Vernon Garrett, Mary Love, Rotations, Trips & Len Jewell ending from 11pm tonight (Saturday) on ebay. All started at just 99p (one still at 99p too!)

It does seem some have turned up recently cos it was rare as hell for many years? There's a guy on ebay knocking them out at the moment Hope there's not as many been found as there are copies of their other one on DC Int or they'll be worth a fiver tops! btw I do like it after the first falsetto verse cos a different singer takes over! T'other side ain't bad either? Cheers Steve

And just to balance out the fact that not all John's auction go for daft money.............I put summat up with him the other month and it went for a quarter of what i was expecting..................so bargains are still around, even on JM's auctions!

I saw the auction end and the record was also on my site at £50 So i left it and it sold the next day (it'd been on about a week prior to the auction) The next question to tackle is this...........yeah i kept me crediblity and didn't hike the price cos of the auction BUT what if the guy who bought it off me hikes it and sells it for say £200 (not saying he did, just using this an a possible scenario) Do i feel good for keeping my credibility or stupid cos i let it go to someone who i know will triple the price? Fidels is a fookin great record by the way (imho)

This is a great early 70's Crossover dancer that is not easy to find! Anything you do is alright Another good 60's mid-tempo Northern Soul dancer from the ever brilliant vocals of Maxine Brown. Not easy to find on an original 1976 US Glades 45 as this side is NOT on the more common Demo copies! Glades #1736 Ex £40 Magnetic Force Is it wrong Quality double-sider. Great semi-known 70's Modern Soul dancer from 1978! Similar to the Exportations indie double sider on Vir-Ro! One day this will be HUGE!!! From the intro, there's about a minute of finger clicking goodness which breaks into a great mid tempo dancer with a hook line that you will be humming all day.
