  1. I too have the orange one , and it is perfect in type face apart from the colour , is this possible to replicate back then ? I'd say it's some sort of reissue due to the sound quality too , if you look at other boots ie duke browner dena barnes etc they all have flaws label and or sound quality but this is not the case here ? Thoughts ??

The answer is simple - not enough !!
  3. Agreed a great pop record:)
  4. No Kev, just sick of the underground underplayed overplayed bull, good records will always be good records, if someone chooses a skirt big enough to take a missing plane great( if it makes em happy!) etc,i just get on woth it and enjoy the grooves baby Ozz
  5. Yawn
  6. I have the full show sound quality isn't too bad , will have to get around to put it out along with the impressions full show too Ozz
  7. It sold pretty well on swan so there is copies about, demand eh !! After a conversation with a family member of the owner of itzy records she told me it was around 6-8 months of the swan issue , yes a re-issue but not one that came sort of 5 years after if you know what I mean , apparently label boss of itzy loved the record ! So do I
  8. i remember sounds of lane on ITZY that was a boot, also mickey mouse records !! a bootlegger with a sense of humour !! the Itzy proper release is in larger print too if i recall.
  9. Came out on ITZY too, not a boot, a regional release shortly after swan.
  10. Mine is pink, boot matrix, but it looks right, print definition is spot on, not expensive or rare, so why boot it ?
  11. I had a look , and have to say it's not the usual thick vinyl copy I have seen in the past , delta numbers looked good, if this is a boot it fooled me but it didn't look like the one I had years ago, mr stamp is there but faint, I'm on the fence on this one as it really could be a rare press possibly later than the styrene copies
  12. Tim ashibende has a lovely abbey road acetate of tmg1000 - the git !! Didn't think a demo existed of this ? If it does I'd like one !

Indeed mate, a very cute lad too, you must be very proud stay well mate
  14. I remember reading somewhere about the label owner liking the record so he licenced the track from swan to put it out on itzy , plus I don't think it was years apart on release via swan to itzy but this does prove that Pittsburgh was a pretty cool place music wise , lots of Detroit northern sounds sold well in the area at the time of release
  15. I remember a genuine press on itzy but just to add confusion it was also booted on itzy - or was that sounds of lane that was booted ? Can't recall but great song all the same
  16. Great place, just be on guard !!, rum boogie had a great live line up too, lots of stax hits and the ribs are amazing, enjoy
  17. Actually two takes or at least different mixes of it - in a nutshell the torch one has the organ and the king doesn't - I do know the torch single was paid for licence wise at the time , still an amazing record to play out
  18. It's a weak version anyway , sorry CHRIS
  19. Its bloody awful, sidras theme is much better stew !! hope your well mate

Some good advice so far , lots of boots have a mr in a circle stamp if its styrene followed by the triangle delta number , eg velvet satins large run out groove mr stamp - real one small run out groove with bell sound machine stamp - it's a minefield !! Best of luck
  22. It is true to say that you want the world to know how good the music is , but if it did wake up to it it would be ruined , the music still excites me and so does getting a record in the box that I have been wanting for years. It is and always will be minimal compared to the mainstream
