, Like most kids got into the music at the youth club , Went to Wigan as a 15 year old , became a regular of Mr Ms , then it was onto cleethorpes , then st ives , came out of the scene early 80s as I became self employed, sold my records late 80s started collecting again 10 years ago and re started the manifesto soul club in knottingley 7 years ago , my old soul club from my teens , then started charitysoul 6 years ago after losing a close friend to cancer I decided to do events and raise money to donate to stem cell research at york uni , and now that’s my drive , my passion , fighting cancer thro the scene , funding frontline experiments that could make brand new discoveries in the future
