We're having a bit of a change from our usual 3rd Friday events - well it IS Christmas!🎄 😉 Boxing Night has always been a much-loved tradition at The Harold Club & Soul Brew are delighted to carry on the good work! The Harold's got it all - a warm welcome & fab, friendly atmosphere; great sound system; top-notch dance floor with absolutely no need at all for talc; bar prices at WMC rates; large car park & good transport links. It's situated on the main road, with easy access from Chain Bar Roundabout & close to Low Moor train station. There's even a nice hotel (The Guide Post) less than 10 mins walk away for those who don't relish the thought of a long drive home! We tend to limit numbers to 120 max in order to make sure everyone has a seat & also a space on a not-too-crowded dance floor, so please be early to avoid disappointment. Our Christmas guest DJ is Sue (Steve Lawson's Legacy) & I know just how much Sue is looking forward to bringing Steve's records over the border from Lancashire to give them a spin at The Harold. Soul Brew's first event at The Harold Club in June was such a HUGE success - we couldn't have been more pleased with how things went. The support & feedback from everyone - both on the night & also on Facebook during the following days - was just phenomenal! It was so good to see lots of old friends plus plenty of new faces too. We're planning on sticking to the third Friday of every month to avoid clashing with other events locally - we would have loved to put on another event in July, but the room was already pre-booked for the 3rd Friday so we will all just have to be patient & wait until August!😭 The Harold's got it all - a warm welcome & fab, friendly atmosphere; great sound system; top-notch dance floor with absolutely no need for talc; bar prices at WMC rates; large car park & good transport links.
