A brief intro...
Bolton lass through and through. Have loved the good old soul music from being a teenager way back in the late 60's. Lived and breathed the Cromwellian in Bolton in the early 70's where some top tunes used to get played and done a few nights in VaVa's.
Few visits to Blackpool Mecca, Wigan Casino mid 70's, although not a regular. Managed to get to the Twisted Wheel, Manchester when it was on Whitworth Street as well early 70's, but sadly only on two occasions.....fab tunes there though.
Have to admit to some regular nights at Troggs in Farnworth as well (what a place ).......and if any of you ever went there, you'll know what I mean
Love going to the soul nights at Rumworth Hall in Bolton whenever I can get there. Getting way too old for this dancing lark but just can't keep mi big bum on the seat when the musics playin'........ya just gotta do it
