A brief intro...
Into all types of black music since around 1968. James Brown was my first "Hero". Got into local club soul and then the early Northern Soul soul scene. Fell out of love with Northern when it went overground with Wigan etc. and explored Funk and Jazz Rock. Returned to Northern during the Stafford era and have continued ever since but still like all types of black music. Was obsessed with Detroit soul for many years but now mainly collect West Coast Northern soul.
