What Instrument Is That . .
Delroy Egg Mason often used cut-down piano strings on his guitar. perhaps this practice had wider use than just Delroy Egg Mason.

Northern V Scooter Scene
are you me? that is pretty much where I am. the moddier rallies are the only part of that scene that show solid musical worth.
-
Northern V Scooter Scene
the current day scooter scene is very much like how I remember my first adventures into the northern soul scene (circa'87, via the mod/scooter scene): full of old people.

Pics Of 45 Boxes?
get ahead of the 2011 craze - everybody will be strutting around with totes - Gok said, so it must be true if not a tote, go for a slimline ladybox* not Gok approved there was a guy on the funk45 forum who custom-made boxes at very good rates - can't remember his name but still have the pics he sent me. he'd make whatever you wanted - the pics below feature velvet lining and a seperate compartment for carts. 'phones etc.

Beggin?
I have grabbed most of them on French white labels from a couple of yrs ago His 'Beggin' has been doing the rounds in different formats for approx 3 yrs now If you want to track down his other stuff, probably best looking on the likes of piccadilly/phonica/fatcity etc
-
Beggin?
Pilooski's quite an interesting bloke - he's also remixed stuff by Dee Edwards, Edwin Starr, World Column, Human Beinz, People etc obviously a fan of the 'classics' Still amazed he didn't opt to re-work the Timebox version for a crisper sound and beefier drums - way less muddier than the OG and therefore more suitable for today's clubs

Wearing Soul Badges
word pokemon - gotta collect em all! I have a fair few but I keep em in a biscuit tin ('family favourites' in case you're wondering...) my favourite one is 'lowestoft soul' it does exactly what it says on the ('family favourites') tin
