RON and BILL.....IT / DONT SAY BYE-BYE........TAMLA STRIPES BOB KAYLI........PEPPERMINT / NEVER MORE....ANNA LABEL I may be wrong but thought Barrett Strong came out in November, although was pressed earlier on a 10" disc. WESTY
  4. A45 HEAVEN is Barrie Waddington, had many dealings with Barrie and always found him honest and trustworthy. Wont be barrie bumping the price up,more likely two bidders trying to outdo each other. Westy (anyone want my U.K. Polydor copy only £200 L.O.L.)
  5. IVE GOT MAJOR LANCE'S OLD SHOES, BUT UNFORTUNATLY THERE AINT NO SOUL LEFT IN THEM WESTY (well somebody had to say it)
  6. BOXES ARE STRONGER WHEN LID IS ON. WESTY
  7. Ive used boxes that A4 paper comes in, in the past. They are a tad wide but seem strong enough as they hold about 5 packets of A4 which is quite heavy. Should get them free from any large office block / workplace. Westy
  8. HI. Y'ALL, GOT MY FIVE HEARTBEATS FROM- PLAY.COM- BUT CHECK THE REGION AS MINES REGION ONE SO CAN ONLY WATCH IT ON MY COMPUTER AND NOT ON MY DVD PLAYER. WESTY

  14. WAS SKINHEAD ESCAPES THE ONE WHERE HE GOES TO AUSTRALIA , OR HAVE I GOT IT ALL WRONG
  15. its true weve all passed derogatory comments about other people but a soul snob makes it a lifestyle
  16. your right , they may be dinosaurs, but still have the snobbery of thinking new stuff in not northern. To me a soul snob will look down their nose at a soul fan dancing to a popular well played easily available record , the problem is mr. dancer is enjoying himself whilst the snob has a face like he's / she's just "followed through" so to speak.
  17. What's your definition of a soul snob. is it someone who... wont attend local events (handbaggers in attendance ) wont attend nighters (been there done that) wont listen to any new sounds ( not true northern) whats your thoughts....
  18. Just wondering what about the "super rare" records, many of us would never get to hear them if it wasn't for the re-issue.
  19. cheers joe, see you soon Westy
  20. Hi... mate, heres what I know, for what its worth.......... Nowhere to Run - Martha & the Vandellas came out on Gordy only once Gordy 7039A on 2nd May 1965 can only assume as it came out only once that both copies are first issue but pressed at different places, hence different labels, I could be wrong but thats all I know about this one. Westy p.s. check out the Isley bros. version.
