Ive used boxes that A4 paper comes in, in the past. They are a tad wide but seem strong enough as they hold about 5 packets of A4 which is quite heavy. Should get them free from any large office block / workplace. Westy

its true weve all passed derogatory comments about other people but a soul snob makes it a lifestyle

your right , they may be dinosaurs, but still have the snobbery of thinking new stuff in not northern. To me a soul snob will look down their nose at a soul fan dancing to a popular well played easily available record , the problem is mr. dancer is enjoying himself whilst the snob has a face like he's / she's just "followed through" so to speak.

What's your definition of a soul snob. is it someone who... wont attend local events (handbaggers in attendance ) wont attend nighters (been there done that) wont listen to any new sounds ( not true northern) whats your thoughts....

Just wondering what about the "super rare" records, many of us would never get to hear them if it wasn't for the re-issue.

Nowhere to Run - Martha & the Vandellas came out on Gordy only once Gordy 7039A on 2nd May 1965 can only assume as it came out only once that both copies are first issue but pressed at different places, hence different labels, I could be wrong but thats all I know about this one. As a guest DJ with a leaning towards Motown I get bookings because of my records. ( does that make sence) Therefore I play to the crowd secondly Play a few to educate (sort of) and Play any requests I can and Dont repeat what the last DJ played Not had any complaints so far WESTY

Got a 200 silver and a couple of 50's silver from HMV. didn't expect to find any in there but there was. Lockable too . The 200 was £19.99 and the 50's were reduced to £7.99. As this was early this year they might still have the odd one about. Westy
