  1. I'LL NEVER FORGET THE LOOK ON SUE ROBBINS'S FACE WHEN SOMEONE PLAYED THE TAMS - THERE AIN'T NOTHING LIKE SHAGGING.
  2. DICKY DOO & THE DON'TS - DON'T COUNT ME OUT
  3. I've bid around $200 for this for a while now but it usually goes for about $230 so when I saw this one go for $710 I thought I'd left it too late. Just got it, vg++ for $199 though, that's the cheapest I've seen for a while.
  4. If I drop down dead tomorrow my wife can sell my records & make a profit but if I live to an old age I don't care what happens to the price cuz I wont be selling 'em anyway. Mind you, if the price did crash think of all the goodies I could buy.
  5. Just stuck it back on with PVA, wiped the excess off with a wet sponge, I'm pleased with the result so far.
  6. Had a Jackie Beavers on Dade stuck on my box once, but when i wanted to re-paint it, it was a lot harder to get off the box than it had been to peel off the record. I wonder what glue i used.
  7. This looks the best so far
  8. Ay up Shute I was offered a gold one about 6 weeks for £100 but it was covered in writing, I think the vinyl condition was ok though. Would have been fine for DJing with.
  9. First - Do It To It - Funky Sisters for me girlfriend or Here I Go Again - Archie Bell for meself Last - I Want A Love I Can See - The Temptations I'm not counting crap like My Heart's Symphony & Paper Tiger as I don't consider that northern
  10. I thought of using one of those pritt sticks but as the label is still just attached it'll be difficult to spread the glue on without folding the label back. I might moisten it & see if it'll come off completely.
  11. I've got a styrene record (Shawn Robinson) & the labels almost come off. Can anyone reccomend a glue that will not damage the label. Thanks

Someone's already asked this about 3 days ago, I think it only available to US sellers at the moment.

Thanks Davie & Dollynormal. can anyone post the Hull version up ?
  15. Is Hey Now Baby on Hull a different version to the one on Up-Down ? If so is it as good ? Thanks
  16. Yeah, Lie Dream Of The Casino Soul. Not one of their better records IMO, but a great sleeve though.
  17. Haven't got a playbox, but there's 15 of my records in someone elses playbox, does that count
  18. I thought C-87 yellow was orig & C-103 pink or green were reissues. What colour is C-6475 ?
  19. Well, I like it but I don't think I could dance to it so the answer will have to be yes, it's too bluesy.

Yeah, Newcastle Tiffs, don't think I've heard it since then either.

I put my max bid on in the last few seconds either manually if I've got access to a pc or snipe if I'm at work or in bed etc. I don't see that it makes any difference.
  22. Have you considered a stall in an indoor market ? They're usually only open 2 or 3 days a week, so you could carry on as a gasman as well until it was established.

I was talking to Steve Whittle about this the other week, apparently the couple who's kitchen it was moved to Australia & the house has changed hands a few times since. Not long ago the new owners ripped up a laminate floor to discover the Casino floor underneath. The neighbours told them what it was so they told the local Wigan press, & it made the headlines.
