Hi ,I saw Al Green at a little venue called the "Basement" on his first live tour over here in my home town of Bury.Gotta say he could sing Just remembered seeing the Detroit Spinners in Manchester ,also in the early 70s.Phillipe Wynne was lead(formerly of the Pacesetters)....what a fabulous range to his vocal talent.He even took off Diana Ross singing -Where did our love go-fab.Such a shame he passed away July 1984.Any one on here see the 'Spinners doing that particular set?ATB Stevie z
