Emmit Long - Call Me - Donoyia
Finally managed to obtain one...winging it's way from Oz to these less sunny shores! I'm after a bit of history on this tune really....as regards where and who first played etc...Paul Sadot...Ady Pierce? Did search the forums and not too much info! I'm an 82 Stafford era onwards guy but have little recollection of the tune....any help guys in filling the gaps? Mark Jones Shrewsbury

Kam 300 Record Flight Case - Handle Fix.....best Glue?
Kinda want to avoid self tappers if honest,,,be ok if I was fixing a suitcase or something but don't want my record box escaping me again!! Would cost too many years and pounds to replace the tunes!

Kam 300 Record Flight Case - Handle Fix.....best Glue?
weirdly the box made to briallant quality.... but handle is plastic!,,,,saying that if you can get a good bond/fix between and box it would be solid enough! My point really...and kinda go with you guys is if I want to go down the nut and bolt route (with washer to spread the pressure...simple schoolboy physics!),,,,,,,,,,, .........But have the original handle which came with the box and would like to use if poss (to save drilling box to fix new handles) I kinda have an angle on chemical fixings....I used to ba aerial rigger and some chemical fixings could hold many many tonnes...rather than rawl plugs which couldn't!! Any ideas?

Kam 300 Record Flight Case - Handle Fix.....best Glue?
Years ago my sis bought me a proper KAM (yes the company that makes DJ amps etc) 300 record Flight case record box for my birthday. Which I will say I was chuffed to bits with! Used it to transport my best tunes in it for a while until one day I was just left with the handle in my hand and no box!! Surprisingly considering the quality of the box the handle was held on with just a few self tappers! Luckily happened on the way to my front door so the box landed on my carpet so no broken vinyl! Got quite a few 200 flight case boxes (3 in fact) which have been loyal servents but would like to reserect the old KAM 300 record flight box if I can as apart from the crap handle it's really well made! So how to "fix/glue" the handle back onto the box is the question...no nails and super glue come to mind. Just wondered if anyone has had the same problem and can share their experiences! Mark

Brainstorm 10 Inch Acetate - Loving Is Really My Game
Arrived yesterday...plays perfect...no difference at all to TABU label version unfortunately for me.....on the 10 inch front...oooh matron....The first 3 inches on the vinyl are totally blank.......there is a groove from 10 inch run in but just takes you in to the the cue area at 7 inch point...i.e the "cue" area is in exactly same place as it is on 7 inch vinyl! So just like the 7 inch with 3 blank inches glued on! B side of 10 inch acetate totally blank! Interesting but may just dissapear into a dust gathering box like most of my records? lol I don't generally sell records...probably only sold 10 records in 30 years but if this acetate matters to you let me know! Brainstorm 10 Inch Acetate - Loving Is Really My Game
Spot on Benji....well spotted...far more observant than me for sure!! Also the Tabu RCA/CBS issue might be explained on the discogs site: "Tabu was initially distributed by RCA then within three years switched distribution to CBS Records, where it remained well after the label became Sony Music Entertainment" Appreciate all the input guys...and as Dave Pinch said nice bit of history to own...not sure where I'm gonna keep a 10 inch record though...don't fit in any of my boxes!

Brainstorm 10 Inch Acetate - Loving Is Really My Game
Bought it off a guy in Ohio so doubt it's British? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320816787204?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 He had quite a few other acetates too.

Brainstorm 10 Inch Acetate - Loving Is Really My Game
Just bought this Northern and disco classic on ebay in what I thought was an interesting format, 10" 45rpm RCA acetate. Never really been an acetate collector but spotted this listed as a funk 10 inch record so thought it worth a punt just for the novelty factor as much as anything. Just wondered what you could tell me about the 10 inch format and why it appears quite a few acetates were cut in this size, Also any particular value to these...probably paid what it's worth I reckon $31, as it's not an expensive tune of course.
