  1. I thought that's what you did at work all day anyhow?
  2. Wasn't Prelude a Philly based reissue kinda label?
  3. Thanks again Martin. You out and about yet? Back at work? Whichever, take care pal.
  4. But a lead nonetheless. Thanks for that. Perhaps somebody else might be able to follow up on your 'feeling'. Something I too like about Soul Source, the way we all pull together to achieve one goal.
  5. That's what I was probably hoping for, one of those mainland Europe picture sleeve type releases that somehow escaped recognition for years. As for Randy's favourite, have to agree, one of mine too and have just reminded myself how good it is (and the other mentioned) via the Encore Lp on Wand.
  6. Does anybody know if the following two tracks were ever issued on 45s? Tomorrow King Of The Mountain Thanks for looking and any advice you're able to offer.
  7. Cheers pal, I'll go with that.
  8. Thanks Joe. So, who can confirm this for me (us)?
  9. Hey Martin, How's things with you? Recovering suitably well I hope? Thanks for the info. I'd forgotten it also came out on Candix and after checking the label dicography, I see it's not listed, as your snippet of info would support. However, how do you know it was a circa '61 release, or non-release as the case may be?
  10. Does anybody know when this was released? What year?
  11. Annisteen Allen - Rough Lover - Decca - Possibly. I'll check for you when I get home at the weekend. Tippie & The Clovers - Bossa Nova Baby - Tiger - Defo got a spare of this one. Minter too. Will get back to you at the weekend if you haven't bought a copy elsewhere before then.
  12. RIP Kell.
  13. I'll find out and let you know.
  14. That's the ONLY label isn't it?
  15. Sounds like Al McCarther to me . . . . just an alternate take, just like it says.
  16. With so many collectors / admirers of Invictus & Hot Wax currently all in one place, do any of you know if "God's Gift To Man" by General Johnson ever come out on a 45, in ANY country?
  17. Thanks. Wiil do.
  18. And what a great record it is too!!!
  19. Welcome back. :D Are we just sticking with UK releases or are we more expansive than that now? 'Cos you used to be a big UK label collector in the past, didn't you?
  20. Cheers
  21. Nice one. Good price? Didn't think you were still collecting?
  22. Cos he's picked one up on UK CBS?
  23. And if so, how can I get in touch with either of them? D T Kenely L Rowlands From the Ormskirk / Skelmersdale area I think? Nothing serious, I have something that they may like to have back, for old times sake?
  24. Hi Martin, Hope you're feeling much better pal? Great find this Radio Sation interview with Renaldo Domino. That first release of his on Twinight "Not Too Cool To Cry" is brilliant, far better than his earlier Mercury (Smash & Blue Rock) recordings.
