Like I said earlier, I'll take a look / listen when I get access to my laptop later this evening. And if I'm able to help, I'll drop you a line back on here.

Yeah, probably the same with me too. I'll take a peek at this later on my laptop. Bloody firewalls!!!

Has a moderator removed a sound file or what? 'Cos I can't see anything but a blank space where a sound file, or link to a sound file, might have been. Or is it just me?
  4. Cheers
  5. Are you able to post up a scan or photograph? And if I'm being cheeky, both sides of the Lp cover.
  6. I, for one, danced wherever space opened up, didn't matter where it was, if I was in the mood then anywhere would do.

Fair enough. Thanks for the explanation.

Sorry mike if I broke the rules there, I honestly wasn't aware. So, I can't use the forum to ask members for copies of any kind of sound files? Or is it just mp3s?

    Thanks gogs.
  11. I wonder if they are one and the same person?

I suppose if I had a complete run of the first one hundred TMG's as Mint issues with flat back G's AND the embossed KT, I'd be a happy man.
  13. Denbo posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
Yes, but it's interesting that all the TMG Demos have the flat back G's, at least the red and whites and the green and whites do. Not so sure about the later black Demos?

Thanks John. So, the absence of embossed lettering of any kind signifies what, I wonder?

Yes, I tend to agree with you, but only because of the raised KT on the left one. Obviously you don't remember what it means either, otherwise you would have said something. I'm sure somebody out there will remind us.

As far as I'm concerned, BOTH of those are original first press releases. If I didn't already have it, and providing it was Mint (ish), I'd be happy to add it to my collection of original first press releases. But like I said, that's me, there may be collectors out there who are even more fussy than that. By the way, I've forgotten what the embossed KT means in the middle of the four pronged centre on the one on the left?

Correct. Flat back G's are the original first releases. Round back G's are later presses having the original release numbers.

No! The rarest records haven't been found yet.
  19. Soulgirl85 has one for sale on here as we speak.
  20. I see. Wasn't aware of that. Thanks for posting.
  21. On the Saxo label perhaps?
  22. Thanks RobbK, I bow to your superior knowledge / experience. I based my comment on the fact that I'd never seen a white Demo before and judged that the colour variation to something that stands out a fair bit more than the usual orange (or subtle variations of orange), ie Pink, suggesting that it might be / probably was a Demo. It's good to have cleared that one up once and for all.
  23. It's coming along . . . . . very slowly I need to take a few months off work I reckon.
