Heard the other day but didn't want to be the first to post out of respect for the families privacy at this tragic time. Our heart felt sympathy and sincerest condolences to his family and specially to Little Av. R.I.P. Pete. Spot & Gail.

  13. Just my opinion but YES, as he'd most likely have every want to hear & dance to Oldie,Rarity & Modern in the book & on OV, who says money cant buy you love or a great record collection, I know if I was a lottery winner I'd be the greatest NS Dj in the world, records make the Dj not his passion,if not why do people travel vast distances to hear Butch, as for the "Deep Working class roots" that may look good for TV Documentaries & Cash in Films but the scenes always had a mixture of the classes & for most it's not just a hobby, it's a hobby for those who have recently appeared since it's become trendy & the new black, just look at Kings Hall (Which I love & have attended since day blob) 2 years ago decent crowd (Numbers wise) today after Soul Boy Film, Lily Savage & other exposees the place is rammed to the gunnels & not all your nice friendly Soulies we harp on about but people reliving their youth via nostalgia, each to their own though & in a couple of years time when they tire of it we'll be back to the numbers of the 90/00's. Take care, be safe & remember,"Ooh, it's alright an it's coming on, we gotta get right back to where we started from", Spot. p.s. Remember the arrogance & certainty of youth? Yes I know it was a long long time ago but I'm sure we were the same, no offence intended just in case you thought I was having a go, no I was just reminiscing, aah.
  14. Who's rule is that then? Because I've never heard it, I'm not saying it's not true, just that I've never heard it said in 40 years, I always thought the 1st issue was the original, oh and just as an aside I actually said "First issue" & never mentioned "Original", that was Bridgey replying to Dave Boogaloo, I don't understand what white demo's have to do with making it an original. Spot.
  15. Bloody Hell Jimmy you must be bored sh*tless on long term sick to torture yourself with this question, you know my views, I say f**k em, play what you believe in & just cos most of the "New Generation" only know the Wigan top 50 because they'd heard it at local youthy or on TOTP & never ventured past the end of their street or local Working Mens Club then it's their lose & if all else fails stick Prince Phillip Mitchell - I'm so happy & watch the Lemmings head for the cliff or the Sheep to the shearing shed. Take care, be safe & remember,"Ba ba ba ba ba ba", Spot.
  16. Basically Robin Cousins been using them as practice rings then. Spot.
  17. You was robbed or a few are turning up? Spot.
  18. I agree Patto, just from here your argument was a bit lop sided if that makes sense btw I know a "Dj" that was offered a New Younghearts & refused even though I explained it wasn't a boot, he wouldn't believe me & went on to buy a Canterbury boot, anyway I know Dave & Bridgey have only OV not like a lot who have boots or carvers btw Bridgey Nolan Chance on Bunky didn't even do a grand I think but I've seen 2 Just Bros on Lu Pine do almost 2 grand each, must be nice to have money. 21. Patto that's a little back to front, just because people don't know it was first released on IMPEL doesn't mean the second release can become the first release, therefore if you only know the multi coloured release does that make it the first issue? Also what about Ivories on Wand/Despanza or Just Brothers on Lu Pine/Music Merchant or Nolan Chance on Bunky/Constellation etc. I know which ones I'd sooner have. Spot.
  22. Yes Bridgey 1st issue 77 but actual 1st issue was on Impel 101. Spot.
