  15. pete thats two different records i put the first one there to show the second wasnt a demo [but still didnt know what it was]
  16. sean yes your right ive just checked ive got 2 white promos of that hot wax 108 thats the point the label went black for stock copies and then there would be no more white copies at all, i really should have seen that before and maybee explained myself better, that would be the only one reissued with a different number, but apart from the wesbound number 9 reissue i mentioned earlier [with the same 101 number] ive got a feeling that there could be more reissued between 101 and 108, so anyone spotting black stock copies of any of those numbers or white demos with a release date after 7/1/72 would confirm this one of the few im missing is somebodys been sleeping [102] manship states the b side is i'se in the guide while 108 its i've
  17. theres a couple up at million dollar disco theres a mecca one and a great one i recorded and gave ewan to put there called ian levine tiffanys 1976 this was actually tiffanys halesowen in the west midlands they used to do monday nights ian and colin and pep is on here too captures the spirit of the mecca and includes the mighty...... .........with 'streaking' i have another great mecca one but saw it the othe day and the end of the tape has come off so i have to somehow get that sorted and im sure i have a wigan one one one side and mecca on the other from 73 somewhere. anyway heres the link https://www.mddaudio.com/mdd.html#mixes
  18. boy you have a steady hand ive looked at this many times and thought 'letraset' and always thought its just too neat must have took you ages a john bull printing set would have been far quicker are you serious about wanting it back? looks like we are going to have to form a new site records reunited i think this came from steve jefferies,he wasnt selling it as a demo or anything, it was sold as a wtf is this
  19. recently sorting through records i discovered i had 2 different demos for westbound number 9 first9/10/70 second 7/1/72 i suppose i used to know this but its all getting fuzzy with age,im guessing the reason for this is that just before hot wax went black [108] some were reissued from memory it was 101/2/3 or maybee more so they would be white promos with black issues most of my hot wax records are demos [im actually looking at them to see the few im missing] so 2 questions what of the earliest hot wax titles were reissued on black stock copies heres the possibilities [westbound number 9 for sure as i think i saw one on ebay the other week and that would explain this later demo] 101 westbound number 9 102 somebodys been sleeping 103while youre out looking for sugar or to make it simpler does anyone have any white demos later than 7/1/72 hope you know whwt im talking about as im not too sure i do
  20. i have a promo of james fountain seven day lover on u.k cream so thats the demo, so what is this? it looks like its the b.side reprinted over, anyone seen one of these or know what it is? end of run,no more a side labels left?
  21. this reminds me of ian levines sister, does anyone remember her going to blackpool mecca? she went a couple of times and when she hit the floor it was like theyed plugged her in to 25,000 volts
  22. it was at the end of part two in the trailor for part 3 if you watch in the bbc iplayer take it to approx 1 minute before the end and you will see, just dont blink
  23. i downloaded it today and did read that you can only get it in the u.k and that they are working on a version for the rest of the world
  24. the one where he interviewed dave ball who told this amazing story of how hed bought a copy of frank wilson for £7 in a hotel and how dissapointed he was some time later when he discovered it was a pressing it was the eddie foster copy so im guessing there may have been a clue in there that first series was so full of inaccuracies if that series was beginning today stuart would be thrown to the lions here
