Yes......you get some DJ's...they come ¼ - ½ hour before there spot..........and disappear straight afterwards.....OK they may be DJ'ing else where in-between........but a lot of them I know do not.....and just don't want to know about anybody else's play

Surely the sound over the systems tells you the quality of the record alone.

They diden't, but it was 5 of us at the time . Will never go back again.

Several times, I have walked our of all lighters and evening doo's, because they play boot's. When I bay the money on the door I want to hear the originals.

A good D.J. knows exactly when to talk, and when not to . To introduces a new record or a semi known, you need the feed back .

I get a load of stories off my hubby, about them days, as I was only a teenager then..... We used to go to Stoke and stay with friends a lot a few years back, so one day we walked up to Tunstall, and he showed me where the Torch used to be, the wall's of the building was still there and a massive big tree growing in the centre of the place.

If I would have been old enough, I'd have loved to have done the Torch and the Mecca, and the start of the 100 club
