another tail about the old man in the house..........as i was to depart to the torch for the first time aged just 17, the old man said "lift up your jumper" i did "take my braces off, take them bloody boots off,and see me before you go" i got changed, threw braces and boots out of window, passed muster, went outside and put um back on, to hear the lady net door announce her old man " here comes the clown!" praise indeed at that age, went off to the best nite out of my life up till then!!!!!!! ezzie
